Power is relative. My last system, I ran 60 watts a channel in my doors, just 500 on my subwoofer. I only had it in a meter once and it was averaging 135 dB on music, peaking near 140 dB.

How loud is that? Loud enough you could barely hear yourself screaming when the system was turned to 11. Is that loud enough? It was for me. I have friends that call that a starter system and throw four 18’s and 5000 watts in the back of something, and a hundred fifty watts a channel at their doors.

More power will give you more volume, I can’t say if 50 watts per channel will be enough or leave you wanting. That’s where personal taste comes in.
