I wasn't aware there was a recall for a 2017 3rd gen on this. Should I look up my VIN on the Toyota site? Or do you have a link to this specific recall?

    Thanks!

I entered my vin on their recall site and it says my 2017 doesn't have any active recalls. However, I read the description of that fuel pump recall and it's the exact issue I'm having.

I believe that 2017's produced towards the end of the model year were recently added to that list.

Okay, thank you. I emailed with a recall inquiry. I will also be calling my local dealership to see if they can lead me in the right direction.

This issue even occurs when I come close to stalling out, but don't actually stall out. Now that we've been getting a ton of snow I notice it more...backing out of parking spots, etc.

Yeah man they aren't doing anything for my VIN. I called Toyota directly and they said they are only recalling Early February 2017 to Mid 2019 production Tacomas for fuel pump. It's fucking bullshit. I'm not going to pay a dealership $200 an hour to maybe be able to replicate this issue and even if I do, there's no way they're going to just up and fix my fuel pump. I totally regret buying this piece of shit.
