Santiam is great for camping. I haven’t really found any tough routes up there but it’s nice to get away from town for a bit. Good spot for snow wheeling as well. China hat has a ton of open area to explore as well. My shop rec is Fit Garage. Owned by my buddy. He’s super honest and the boys do good work. They all drive Toyota’s as well (besides one guy that drives a Volvo 6x6 instead haha).
Let me know once you’re in town, I’ll buy ya a beer.

There's loads of places around. Nothing too technical. However, there are a few spots getting up to Edison Butte that can take you out if you'r not careful. Cline Butte has A LOT of lava rock and will take you out. Period. It's more technical, tooo.

Welcome tho bend (when you get here)

I’ll have to explore that area of Santiam more, I drive by it a lot to get to the Metolius. Earlier this year we did a route along the PCOR that took us near there and it was gorgeous. I’ll make sure to check out China Hat too.

Really appreciate the recs including the shop - I’ve definitely got to see that 6x6 one day haha. I’ll be in Bend late December and will let you know once we’re moved and settled - you guys ever do meetups or trail runs together?

Thanks! Assuming you’re talking about the black section of Edison Butte route 3? I’ve seen some photos of Cline Butte too, might need to work up to that one haha.

KB Voodoo Bed Rack For Sale! $600!

Selling my rack, in great shape, has worked well for me. Black powder-coated steel. Plenty of options for attaching just about anything you want to it. Measures 18" high, 58" long. Should fit any 2nd/3rd gen and short/long bed Tacoma, from 2005-present.

@mhshark if @PNWTacoma is who I think he is in real life then I highly recommend him, just got mine tuned a couple weeks ago before moving and have nothing but good things to say about his work and the results.

We still need to grab a beer soon now that I’m here btw

What tune packs do you have? (Ie what years can you tune?)

What tunes do you have available? AGM? Gear lock? Dump tubes?

Are your tunes for drivability or power? If so any dyno charts?

Are your tunes Locked or can we modify them?

I have tune packs for the common ECU’s. The new 2021’s and some MTs aren’t out yet.

All these tunes are editable and can be customized but I’m offering 2.0 which is OV’s latest release which is the latest and greatest.

I am familiar with VF Tuner and that thread.

I was just wondering if you were flashing something other than the modded 2.0 base calibrations.

I’ve been testing my own calibrations and I feel I am about as far as I can get with the what’s currently available/publicly known with vF.

Honestly, I sold my Tacoma before I could play around with the edits. I just got it back recently and am learning as I go. I play around with the user created performance and gear lock tunes and am waiting for Mat to host some training sessions.
