I did mine from the bottom. Removed the two bolts that attach the LCA to the spindle, loosen the inner LCA bolts after marking the camber settings. Unbolt the lower struct and the LCA swings completely out of the way. The coilover drops right out. No special tools, no poppin ball joints. Was able to this with floor jack and jack stands. I removed the sway completely before this as I was using the relocation kits, so had to unbolt it anyway. Good luck, not a bad job at all.

    Just miles
These look right up my alley, not too expensive, not overkill for my use, and easily adjustable? Now just to find some!

Installation Complete: Eibach ProTruck coilovers (set at 1.5" over stock) and ProTruck rear shocks with 1.25" rear blocks (while I wait for the HeadStrong AAL to be available again). Rolling on Method 315 Machined wheels with Bridgestone Dueller AT Revo 3 265/70-17. I'm happy with the way it came out. I get my alignment on Tuesday and then I'll try it out on some trails. So far I like the ride on the street... an improvement over stock. Thanks to @PThy for use of his coilover adjustment tool!

    Alrighty, some good news.

Successfully installed the coilovers up front. I ended going the upper control arm route, didn't want to deal with marking my lower cams.

Hardest part was muscling the coilover around the sway bar on the driver side. Passenger side was a breeze. Took maybe an hour and a half at a casual pace.

End result puts me around 22 1/4 driver's side, 22 1/2 passenger side. As expected, a 1/4 difference. I will likely bump passenger to 22 3/4 and match the driver's side.

However, I also have some bad news.

I was unable to install the rear blocks / shocks as my jack stands/jack wouldn't facilite it. Even with the stands maxed on the frame, and the jack on the pumpkin, it was still bottoming out. I even tried taking both tires off so that I could drop the axle lower, and yet still it was bottoming out. Will likely need a lift, or will need to find some larger jack stands.

    Additionally....

The rear sits about even on the passenger side, but 1/2' lower on the driver side. I'm not sure if i have a problem, or if the front being 1/4' off turns into the rear being 1/2 off. It's very obviously and looks crooked. So, I will need to figure that one out. Mind you, this was with a full tank of fuel, so I'll remeasure with 1/2 a tank.

Too dark for pics, I'll zap some over tomorrow.

I wonder if I could put jacks under each side of the axle, on the leaf, then remove the ubolts / add block / install new ubolts.

I am liking it... it feels more planted and going over bumps i don't feel like the front end "rattles around" as much... I have under 17k miles, but with the stock setup bumps just felt clunky. The Eibachs take the bumps much better IMO. The new ride height feels good as well.

I plan on taking it out on some trails over the weekend. That will be the other test.

Did some trails today... The Coilovers paired with the 17" wheels and AT tires made a big difference IMO. Very happy with the setup!

I did Del Sur Ridge down to the resovouir, bit it was closed so did quarry rd. I was planning to go from Del Sur Ridge to Drinkwater, but when I saw the route at Deer Park I decided that doing that one alone was tempting fate... looked like something best done with at least one other truck.

I installed these back in June, I am running a 1" block in the rear and Dirt King UCA's, Tires are 265/70/17 Falken wildpeak. I have put about 11k Mile on these Coilovers and I am pleased with them so far. Completed a 5k mile trip from Houston to Colorado, New Mexico and Moab, Utah. They handled great on the highway making the 1k mile leg of that trip a breeze. They took the abuse of Colorado and Moab with stride and haven't had an issue with them.

I ordered the Eibach 2.0 kit from Rogue Offroad a couple months back and they arrived without a wrench at all. Will be calling on Monday. Thanks!
