Put a set of tires in your cart on the website and you'll see that it takes $100 off

When you scroll down to order summary it should show "$100 instant online saving applied to cart"

I believe it only applies to sets of 4 or more

You’re correct. Guess my problem was that I was trying to buy them through my local Discount Tire store’s website, and that wasn’t showing any discount. When I go through the Discount Tire Online site, that shows $100 off (and shipped to my door). Seems a little odd, but $100 is a $100. Thanks for the tip.

Discount tire’s regular website and discount tire direct are two different sites and usually have different prices/promos running.

Flash deals are normally on a Monday & Tuesday. Have seen it happen twice in 1 month too. Just wait for it & check the site. That’s how I got mine & shipped st to my door!

Also - it does not apply to 5 tires. You will pay full price for the 5th. The $100 off is spread out @ a lower % if you buy 5 tires.

Thanks to all for the help and input. Visited my local Discount Tire this afternoon, and they wound up matching the $100 instant savings offer from the Direct website. Didn’t have access to the same discount code at the store so the salesman had to manually enter the discount...$25 off each tire. I had decided to replace the spare, too, so he had it entered as a total of $125 off for a little bit, but he caught it. Almost got a really good deal...LOL. Just waiting to hear when the tires will be delivered. Wheels should be here tomorrow.

The flaps cleared the 265's fine. I ran 285 for a few weeks that rubbed them like crazy so I pulled them off and just haven't gotten them back on yet.

    Sweet, just pulled the trigger.

The cheapo all seasons that were put on before I bought my 4runner have done fine so far, but were downright scary the couple mornings so far the roads have had some snow. Had these on my Tacoma and liked em, I got 5 so I can rotate the spare in.

Got my Wildpeaks mounted along with some new wheels last night...really beefy compared to the stock tires. So far, just a little rub at full lock when pulling into the drive, which is fairly steep.

On fence between Wildpeak AT3W and Michelin Defender LTX M/S..... 265/70/17 (P or LT). Lot of highway driving.

Huge difference. Can't speak from experience on the Michelins but they look to be much more mild tire. Should be smoother ride, quieter, and better milage. Probably much better for highway. However, I am on my second set of wildpeaks. They are pretty good in all aspects for as aggressive a tire as they are. Love the look.

How long do the Wildpeak last? I know Michelin do last longer than Wildpeaks.

Mine were rotated every 5k and they are down to 4/32". I have 46k on them. Could probably go another 5k but winter is upon us and I'd rather replace before winter.

For comparison, I've had Nittos and Revos before and all last about they same for me. No offroad, only street. About 70:30 highway:secondary streets. All rotated on the same schedule.
