Door seal pins and holes don't line up?

    1990 Pickup
    I'm replacing the door seals on my 1990 pickup and the pins on the new seals only line up with the first couple holes. Is this normal? I ended up slicing tiny holes and moving the pins so the seal fits nicely with no tight stretches or extra sags. Curious what others know about this. Thanks.
