welcome! what part of town do you reside in? and do you have a security system where your taco is parked at night?!

kidding, but for real you have pretty much all the mods on my future mod list

i hit SL trails all the time since they're super close to my house, though with the rain we've had recently it'll be a while before i can go back..

i am down for a group ride some time if others want to join.

Southwest side. Yessir, I do. Couple of cameras, thermals, NVs, and plentiful of rounds to dispose lol .

That’s awesome, have you started modding your truck? I just started on mine.

Now I gotta the SL trails definitely since everyone is talking about it. I’m down as well on having a group ride soon!

@ duggys garage... it took me awhile to decide whether do it on my own with the help of friends or have a shop do it because I had some bad experience in the past during my tuner days. Had searched around Houston and surrounding areas for truck shops for the best option, so I chose duggys over autobrudda.. and I had a great experience so far, going back for round two of install of other parts..

From my experience... It’s a big difference! Especially with 305s on. The ride is a lot smoother, I did not feel the gear hunting like I used to, the truck feels more “torque,” I feel like I have more power when I step on the gas, and as far mpg I didn’t lose any... In fact I have gained at least 10 more mpg when I fill up the tank. So far, so good and a big need.

At first there was rubbing, so duggys did the pinch weld which fixed that issue up to 95-97% no rubbing lol. The shock relocation kit helped out a lot, and I changed out the bushings to energy suspension body mount bushings and better than the alpine designed ones . I am not running any spacers which is good, and I don’t want any at all. The total lift for the front is I believe 2.5ish. For the rears, I believe it is 1 inch. The smoothies are awesome by the way.

Am I understanding you correctly ? 10 mpg gain with the re gear? Wow
I’m not necessarily looking for improvement in fuel economy vs performance but damn that’s awesome-
Thanks a lot for your note . Which 5.29s did you install and if you don’t mind how much your total cost to do?

Yessir. From my experience, so I don’t know about others’ experience. I love the drive more after the regear. It’s nitrogears.. close to 5k but that include the ARB front e-locker and ARB air compressor install
