Well.....just sent some photos of my truck and the modification list to a dealer with the Tundra I want in stock. Lets see what happens next. I fully expect to take a loss on my mods to the tune of 90%+ but won't get rolled over on the trade value. Luckily they are already asking under MSRP for the Tundra before any Toyota incentives or negotiations so that's a good start.

I’m in the same boat on buying a dinosaur tundra or taking the chance on a 2022. The dinosaurs hold their value better than all the newer and more modern trucks, likely for a reason, they don’t mess up. I’m going 2021 or older, it’s tried and true.

If you want a better chance at reliability then go for the Tundra.
If you want to go for the latest car magazine fetish then go for the Fiat. I mean Ram.

Stick to what you know. Tundra is the way. Will also hold its value in the long run. TRIED AND TRUE SINCE BIRTH

The fact that I thought the Tacoma might be able to tow this was crazy! Tundra did great though, could barely tell anything was back there.

Toyota will always last. If you want a vehicle that’s going to last, the Toyota and tundra is tried and true and it will last forever. But that comes with some drawbacks. Toyota is always late to the technology game engine game in the tundra sees that. It’s outdated, technology is outdated, transmission is outdated, the engine is outdated and the design is outdated. The ram is going to have a better infotainment center, better radio better speakers. A little better miles per gallon, and it’s just more updated. So either you buy the tundra which the dinosaur and outdated but it will last, or you buy a ram that’s more updated, probably a little more faster, or do you wait another year for the new tundra which is going to be a V6 TwinTurbo. I love Toyota in the vehicles last but if I was looking for a full size, I will either wait for the new tundra go for the ram 100%. I wouldn’t spend money on the current tundra which is outdated and a dinosaur. Not worth it

Tbh.... You're wrong about the fuel economy. The Rams don't get any better than the Tundra (w/ comparable engine sizes. Keep that Eco diesel junk in Europe where it belongs) lol

Well maybe they got about the same but I drove a tundra for a couple of months and I had a hemi ram for almost a year and the ram got at least 2 miles per gallon better than the tundra lol. The tundra just sucked gas like you wouldn’t believe but then again I don’t drive like a grandmother. I don’t know, I just like the way the ram drove much better but everyone has their own preference is

I ended up going with the Tundra. 2021 TRD Pro. Very pleased. Gas mileage does suck, but in all honesty, I don't care.

Oh theres no doubt that newer rams ride really nicely. I've been impressed with their progress since they separated as an "individual" brand.

I mean as long as you don’t care, there still great trucks. I mean they definitely look sick for sure. That’s awesome

I have been to. The interior of the new rams are some of the best I’ve seen in a truck, the details are amazing

I love the EXT cab Tundra you chose. Such a neat look. I don't think I really need the full 4-dr, but I'd love the size and power.

Maybe one day. I've enjoyed not having a truck payment the last little while, soooo, yeah, might stick to that plan for a bit.

Right! Almost as nice as the new Titan...

Same. I could do some damage with say, a 2017 Tundra Double cab, don't really need the Office Cab, but justifying another truck payment on that big boi..... Yew!

I have an order placed for a 2021 Ram Rebel. Expected in 1 to 1.5 months.. I'm hoping the Tundra specs are released before then.. The work on the street make it sound like the Tundra will win in hp, torque, and mpg..
