That’s cool how’d you do that? Also how would you get the graphics for the cabinet?

I took a close up picture of them then I made them a semi-transparent layer in Photoshop and recreated the graphics over them from scratch. I had them printed by a member on here on laminated vinyl.

The cabinet art, marquee, and the control panel overlay came from eBay.

Don’t go to authentic though... the 80’s standard control panel cigarette burn is taking it a little too far!

When I was restoring an old Pinball Machine i finally found a set of deck decals albeit for a hefty price. Maybe my own fault but the guy sent them general Mail & got bent to almost useless. Found a local guy with this Crazy high end copier that printed them right onto Mylar film better than the originals. Win some, loose some, I guess.

I remember losing a few quarters down into the machine that I had lined up on plexiglas. The guys that maintained them probably made some good extra cash off stray quarters in cabinet. Had a lot of fun playing those games but i’d Have been better off money wise if I hadn’t.

Anyway sounds like a good project that I hope to do someday soon! My son wants a table top version. I’m more interested in the upright version. I’ll check all the links and see if I can get it built. If you guys have anymore information please post it so maybe it can be built from this post. Thanks, wish I had a better grasp of the electronics end of this project. Would be pretty happy with myself if I actually built one!

At the end of the day it’s literally just a computer and a monitor with controls hooked up to it. Super easy to build one.

I’d find a cheap gutted used arcade cabinet like I did and built something into it.
