Haven't put the strings on yet, but I did give the Dunlop max grip a test run. I like! I still (probably always will) have faint numbness in my thumb, so these help with feeling pick movement between thumb and booger finger. 1.0's so will probably get a few different sizes. Amp repair still on hold for now...

 

Made an unintended purchase on tuesday.$6700.
Downstairs furnace shit the bed after 22 years.
Trane XR14c incoming in he next week.
No toys for me anytime soon.

Yea. We've had mid 20's thru the week.
25 the night it went out.
What boggles my mind is all 2 stories here are on seperate systems.

Furnace/air combo for downstairs is outside.
Air for upstairs is outside, furnace for upstairs is in the attic.

Wouldnt a small gas fireplace solve this heating issue for cheaper? I have a 1100 sq ft raised ranch bungalo...have natural gas fireplace set on Low. Furnace wont come on unless it hits -12 C (10F) then I let it go to heat the basement, otherwise I could just dial up the FP a tiny bit.

Are the downstairs and upstairs separate residences?

 

Single family, 2 story with bonus room (my studio) above 24x24 garage.
3 bedroom, 2.5 baths on an acre.

I do have a non vented insert but it's recommended to only run for 2 hrs because of carbon monoxide. Natural gas heat.

It does get pretty cold in our short winters and extremely hot in the summers. My studio in particular heats up very fast in the summers.

At 2000 sq/ft, it's way to much house for 1 person but when I purchased it, it was supposed to be for 2 adults and 4 children.

The gf at the time decided at the last min to quit her job and said she didn't want to work and wanted to be a stay home mommy and homeschool the kids.

Told her she needed to find a new job and a new man.

Also, new units dont really add value to the home but the are a great selling point.

Ya. By 2 different daddys.

She married a kid almost half her age. Knocked her up and he spit out another one. He bailed. Kids like 9 now and dudes never seen him.
