1/4 of the time to search out a TSB and sprint to the parts counter?

Time units are based on 100 times units to the hour. so .2 is around 12 minutes yes.

The radio software update TSB gives them .3 (18 minutes). I think is strange that they get paid less for replacing the belt than for updating radio software.

And, that H/U FW update is pretty damn long also.

If we're comparing, the WOs that I have seen for TSB tune flashes are 0.4hrs. That is a 10min or less process.

My tactrix cable gets delivered today (a day early) - I'm guessing the TSB tune flash will take me at least 30 minutes since I'm paranoid and will be double checking everything.

That is a very reasonable expectation. I was in those shoes when I did the 04B13 flash with a borrowed adapter.

If you're SUPER paranoid, I found that my jump pack in non-boost mode (just hooked to the battery and turned On) did a great job of keeping the volts up for the entire flash.

There is a TSB with just flashing instructions attached to the ECU Update 1st Post that talks about that.

One small, good thing is that TS will not launch the process if the volts are under a certain threshold. I can't remember exactly. Something around 11.0 or 11.5?

ok 12 minutes.. im not familar with those other things. being toyota talk and i do GM.
you must understand though. we are only paid on what we do. so that job paying .2 includes getting the vehicle. going to parts counter and waiting for part.... .... geting part. installing on vehicle... doing free inspection.... and pulling car/truck out. lots of stuff happens during the day and just cause the job is easy and u may have app. doesnt mean it gets worked on first ..

Yeah EricTheCarGuy had several videos ranting about dealership life... I just had a question specifically about the time codes in the TSB. As I understand, warranty work pays shit across all the brands. At least with Toyotas, a greater portion is out-of-warranty work compared to GMs (and European brands).

To help with these VIN codes:
10th digit is model year, K is a 2019 model year, L is for 2020
11th digit is the build plant, X is Texas built, M is Baja
