Fog Light Kit/Replace Blanks

My 2014 has the plastic blanks in place where a factory fog light would normally go on a better equipped model. My question is, has anyone added lights here and is there a kit so to speak that replaces the blank so it looks OEM?

 

The blanks should just pop out and there should be all the plastic tabbing to mount the factory fog lights in their place, also you truck may be partially pre-wired and have pigtails for the fogs somewhere tucked up behind the bumper and possibly the connector for the switch behind the dash.

You should be able to buy used factory fogs on here pretty cheap and just pop them in.

I got a set on Amazon that came with all the hardware needed, cost about $40. Pretty straight forward install, about an hour, and I'm not that savvy with wiring and electrical stuff, routed wiring through an existing grommet in the firewall and hooked it to the tail light fuse so they would go off when ignition is off in case switch is left on put the lighted switch in a blank on the dash. No problems for about 3 years now. There are several kits to choose from on amazon

As long as you're installing fog lights, you might want to consider the quality and output of what you're putting in. OEM is an excellent choice as far as quality goes, but there are numerous better options when it comes to light output. This thread has everything you need to know about OEM and better options.

Your Tacoma is most likely pre wired for fogs, reach up behind the bumper and there should be your wire on each side with plug. You will need to pop in the switch in the dash and plug it in and add a relay to the correct area under the hood.
