Hello quick question I've read a few post about alignment issues in the rear, I just added the icon leaf pack rxt and seems when bolted up I'm sitting ¼ off on my driver side towards the front, since then a day later my trac off light and check engine has been on for a few days now, a mechanic shop told me it was probably because of the rear being out of alignment.
I just wanted to know if that was something anyone has experienced or if there is a simple fix to it?
I have lossen ubolts and got right where I need it twice now but every time I tightened everything up it seems to pull it back out of place

I’d pull the codes and go from there.
In the meantime, check the wheel speed sensors.

cross check both side. are you tightening the u bolts evenly? are the leaf packs sitting properly on the centering holes? you dont have left side and right side leaf packs do you? is one side backwards? Just some starts

Thanks so far looks like I may have something similar to what the op from everything he is saying, I'm just needing to look more into it since I just installed the leaf springs a day or two before it started

All of that checks out okay other than possibly then sitting on the wrong side? I couldn't find anywhere on icons site or anyone saying there is a left or a right

I thought I read that there is a left side and a right side part number difference. That is what I would be checking as if that is true and the spring is in reverse that may very well place the centering pin out of position.

I just checked and there are two different numbers. One part number for left side and a different part number for the right side.

I don't recall ever seeing Icon's RXT leaf pack as side specific. I have them installed and alignment is spot on. I would recheck the installation, loosen up the bolts, and retorque it properly.

Hmmmm OP, I know this will be pain in the ass...but remove the leaf pack and measure them? Maybe one of the pack is off? And what option did you set it to?

I actually thought about doing that but I have been hesitant to pull everything back out, and I am running the standard the way they come with the extra leaf left out

Thanks for the help guys I just wanted to update that I tried unbolting it and forcing it in the direction where it needed to go, I got it as close as possible tighten them back up again like I normally do, the only difference is I did loosen them up just a tiny bit to have a little bit of wiggle room and rock the truck back and forth gently, and it seemed to get it pretty much where I needed it from that point I think I'm off like an eighth of an inch right now, main thing I wanted to report back is I drove around with it like that for a little while and the error code had disappeared and it's been gone for the last 2 days so I'm thinking the rear alignment may be able to through up that error code, I will report back if it comes back on
