I kind of assumed that they would release them after Christmas for all the wives that purchased gift cards

I lucked out with PS5, woke up at 1am that day and they were in stock. Honestly it's not that impressive as people are hyping it up. I upgraded from a PS4 pro. Now for the puddle pods I debated buying them on the last run and while I was thinking on pulling the trigger they went OOS. I'm even more surprised there's still total stage one's available. As mentioned above, keep an eye on Meso's dealers.

 

Good to know I was thinking of upgrading too but will wait until the hype is over.

So as I’m expecting my new Meso puddle lights to arrive in a couple days, I wanted to start prepping myself for the install. This will be my most difficult install yet and I want to make sure I’m prepared. I’m trying to read thru past posts to learn from others mistakes/issues. But is there any tips or things I should expect? Anything to make the install go smoother from those who have already installed the puddle lights would be greatly appreciated. I’ve already ordered some of the mirror trim clips, as I’ve seen that to be a pretty common issue of losing those. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. What does that do exactly? I was thinking that was only if I had rock lights? But, is there another benefit it provides?

I got Victory 4x4 sliders that have integrated rock lights so I thought I’d connect them as well so that I get both the Puddle Puds and the rock lights as courtesy lights. It seems like also connecting my pods on my UpTop rack would be nice when camping too. Most likely I’ll use this as my trigger for my SwitchPros.

 

That is a cool feature to have. I might look into doing this. Cause I would like to add rock lights at some point down the road

 

The Switch-Pros says it can do a negative trigger. So I’m hoping I can tap the dome direct with the T harness as my aux trigger vs needing the dome rock module. Of course I’m way behind on my actual install so not certain yet.

A great mod to have. Switch is mounted in overhead console. Used some plastic plugs in place of the stickers covering the mirror bolts.

 

I'm just musing to myself publicly, wondering why Meso doesn't keep manufacturing the most popular items non-stop? Or perhaps they do. It seems like they stockpile a few dozen and then do an announcement and within an hour or two those all get sold out. Maybe this is how it is done by everyone and these are simply that popular. Or perhaps it is a marketing thing to keep the demand high to guarantee future sales. Most likely it is because Meso is a small business and is riiiigghht at that point where they need to expand but don't quite have the resources to do so. Plus stupid covid messing everything up.

Oh well. On another non-musing note, does anyone know if their website is hooked up to a database with inventory counts updated in real time? That would be much more handy than relying on email notices. I'm thinking I'll never be able to get several of their items since it's been a year of trying so far lol...but I'm patient...
