Off Camber Fabrications in Huntsville used to make "rock rails" as they called it, but their website totally sucks for searching parts (at least on the phone it does).

I'd also be interested in this.
May give that Off Camber Fabrications place a call, cause their website sucks in general.

Nah, I'm waiting until I actually get my truck to call [Late Jan ETA]. I'm not in any rush. I'll post up if/when I do. Or if I find someplace else.

There was a dude in QC making them.. but they're sold out at the moment.. if you're in a rush you could try getting a hold of him to see if he'll be making more.

I have that quality bender and the 1.75" die set to bend these up. I also have the tube notcher, plasma table and welding equipment necessary to do the job.

The tube portion of the job is the easy part. The harder part is ensuring the frame brackets are correct. At least for the first Gen3 I do. FYI, I have a Gen 2 AC.

I'd volunteer as tribute but I have 3rd gen access cab.. my understanding is that they are universal for same length trucks

It's not so much the length, but the factory holes and obsticles on the frame that need to be mapped.

    You're welcome to come out:)

Yes the 3rd gen frame has more bits attached to it (fuel pump computer on driver's side, a couple of electrical connectors on the passenger side) that the slider has to clear. Plus there's a ~3/16" thick doubler plate welded on the frame rail up to the T-case crossmember, so the frontmost leg of the slider needs to be shorter by the same amount.

Sorry guys, I've been a bit MIA recently.

Have put a couple things on hold while I secure commercial space to support the growth I've been seeing.

I will be following up with everyone who reached out in regards to the test truck post, to make sure I don't leave anyone hanging (longer than I already have)

    Cheers,
    Sean

    UPDATE:
    Hello everyone;
I went to Glenn(Taco-can) and he did all the measurements and fabrication for the sliders.
They look cool and they are not even on the truck yet.
I am painting them, and probably send the final pictures by the end of this weekend.
Big shout out to Glenn for this job.

    Thanks Sam.

Primer looks great. Can't wait to see them on your rig.

    Good luck with the paint.

I'm chiming in on the OFC sliders as i own a set. I never ordered through their site because even 2 years ago it's worse than it is now. complete ass.

i Called up Creditstone Auto in Toronto, ask for Pete, and he managed to order a set for me.

I have my gripes with it; don't protrude away from the body as far (if it was out another inch or 2 i'd be happy), as well as the powder coat is kinda meh. After the first year of use (i've had em for 2 years now) surface rust started to show through the powder coat.
ended up bedlining them while they were on the truck and have been solid since.
(this was after 2 seasons in snow and before the bedliner)
    IMG_20210414_073146499.jpg

but they are solid. they can take a few hits.

How well did those mounting plates align? you used the free CAD template that's floating around the forum right?
