sunny and a cold 20 degrees, the snow on the ground is frozen solid because of the high water content lol, was not fluffy at all

big storm headed to the east where you are at

 

get out the salt or what?

 

somebody trying to claim that WA and CO are 'salty' states

the only 'good thing' here yesterday is they put the salt on AFTER the storm while they were plowing and not that thick liquid stuff beforehand... because rain

does that stuff really save $$$ or cost more $$$ in the end

 

filled up the tank with some fresh taco juice @ 185c, cruised the i680 into Iowa to see how many vehicles still in the ditch, there were quite a few still
then gave it a soapy salts-gone rinse underneath on the cold AF concrete (soaked the tShirt). picked up quite a bit of dried salt caked on that new frame paint by the exhaust piping, rinsed off best i could cramped up & frozen stiff almost

I got my shopping done early and then realized it was all truck parts. So now I gotta hurry and get my actual holiday shopping done. My 5 year old niece would like a black exhaust tip for a 3rd gen, right?

 

Sadly she doesn't take after her aunt like that, her younger sister though may like it.

 

It's still cold and frozen out, must rinse salt off truck but then doors will freeze shut

 

Have you considered that maybe this is why you have so many issues with rust? You wash it too much?

 

yes, i usually wait until temps are much closer to freezing to hose it down, when the glaze disappears, but that won't be until this next weekend
