Driveshaft disconnect to be flat towed behind our RV.
    PXL_20201217_015420024.jpg

Wrapped up our flat towing setup and took a trial run last night. I was glad to get this finished before we have had any snow in Central IL. Will be pulling the Tacoma down to Key West pretty soon.

Yes, I added a driveshaft disconnect from Superior Driveline.

    Squatch Lights

Update: unfortunately with the way I mounted them, this is the farthest down angle I could get, still bright and useful but didn’t quite give me the downward angle I was hoping for on the trails.

I did that back in the 90's towing my 88 Toyota pu with a U haul from Mich to Gainesville FL and the tow bar bolts were coming loose! no tools to make adjustments so we just went with it!!

Cosmetic only. Blacked out the chrome, tailgate letter insert, Clazzio seat covers, gear shift knob, LED interior lights.
Nice! I just did this same mod, but went with red lettering on the shift knob to match my other interior accents.

Fantastic! Man, I'm really loving the low-end power gain. I've been getting in the mountains of West Virginia few times a month since the install. Dude this thing is great. I beat the hell out of my truck and this helps with all the extra weight. I love it how I have more power than a tundra with a 5.7l V8 :)

Right on the top of the steering column. I’ve always liked mine there. Some people put them in the A pillar. 570792F5-951B-41B6-822D-AF11A2D3A5EA.jpg

    Decal from cboy
Second times a charm on this install. Tip is to spray everything with soapy water front back and while peeling the decal. I used magnets in the middle to set in place peel half way cut the backing squeegee than repeat for the other side.

I apologize if this seems like I'm hi-jacking your post. I really like your inserts - too bad the wireless charger doesn't work through them, because these are really cool.

I had the "bubble" issue and would have bought one of your inserts if I hadn't found a "fix". I actually use my charger every once in a while and was able to get rid of my "bubble". Take a look here is you are interested. As a follow up, the "bubble" has not returned.

    Again, apologies.

I might need to get one or your inserts anyway, just cause they are so cool. Maybe I could glue a little handle on it to make it easily removable if I needed to charge the phone. I think this one might just be my favorite

Thanks! And no worries, this is a place for people to share thoughts and findings. What you've shared is way better than the $800 fix that some people said the dealership offers.

I'll say, you wouldn't need a handle. You can remove this with a little finesse in a second or two. It's tight enough with enough friction to not move or rattle, but has just enough room to take in and out with just your hand.

If I could upload a little video clip I would demonstrate here, but I probably average like 2 seconds for removal time.

I appreciate the link! I felt like the covers reduced the light output from the pictures I've seen and the Laminx overlays were on sale :D
