    Told ya!!!!!!!!!!!

So after the letter I got today from the VA telling me that my claim is still processing, not denied like I thought, hang in there buddy. If you can figure out how to do it, search for people, look up "Labaianoch" and add me to your contacts. I'll hopefully be flying again soon.

Eve is my first MMO too. There's just something about it that engulfs you. I'm doing everything I can to get back soon. Fly safe and I'll hopefully be back in a few months ready to tear into shit!

    Lab out ---

And I might add, CCP, the company that makes EVE, is working on a FPS called "Dust 514". :D

Check your PM's. Could be a a few things. Something on your computer is most likely blocking it.

Oh they went to the fanfest? If my VA settlement comes through I'll be back on there in a few months time hopefully. Need a new computer first (fried the last one). I'd love to go to a fanfest one year and see all the dorks with their faces painted to look like their avatars, lol. I sure do miss the hell out of it. My wife thought it would distract me from school but it only motivated me to get my homework done so I would have time to play :D

It's so cheap to subscribe every month our recycling paid for it!

..........god I miss it .........sold my soul to that game I swear, lol.

Oh dear Elvis, lol. Let me guess ...

Headset with a microphone, member of a huge 0.0 alliance involved in daily large scale fleet warfare to defend sovereign space?

If you don't understand what that means ...ask him, lol.

Ask him what he thinks of "module lag". He'll probably rant for hours about it.

I tried playing it but just didn't have the time to get over the learning curve. It seemed like a pretty massive game. Only gave it about a week or so before i lost interest into something else. Plus i had no one to play with:( lol

i played eve for a bit. its fun, but theres just too much to the game for me to fully grasp on to it. i have enough problems trying to figure out the real world let alone a complex fantasy world... lol

no shit! there is more to learn in this game than there is to learn in real life. it didn't help that the first night playing it i was in an altered state of mind. i just stared and drooled trying to figure out how to move my ship. i picked up enough the first night to mess around and since then i'm starting to get the hang of it. i'd say i only know about 3% of what i need to know to be good but i'm having fun learning. so far i've just been doing computer agent missions. i'm afraid if i do anything else i'll immediately die. but once i learn what to do from these training missions i'll branch out and have fun.... and die

I think it would help a lot if you had someone to help you get started. I had NO idea what alliance and all that other stuff to pick. Where to go. How to even find the first objective took about 3 hours. Then trying to blow up 5 ships, dont get me started.

If I had some help I think I would have loved it. I'm a sucker for a good MMO.

Ive been playing it for about a month. It seems pretty good. I dont know if I will invest the time needed to get really good though.

If you guys need any help, I may not be active on there right now but I can answer any questions you have. I'm one of the very few newb friendly guys on there. I've been helping "nd" the best I can through emails. I remember how hard it was for me too. Made me wanna quit after a week but I came crawling right back just like everyone else does eventually, lol. It's WAY too addicting. There are folks that go away for YEARS and come back because they can't stand not being on there anymore.

So like I said, need help, pm me:)

I still don't really understand how the whole industrialist/playing the market thing works. Never been out to 0.0 SOV space ...well I have but I was running like a little bitch trying to get somewhere, lol. Everybody is lost in the sauce the first few months. Gotta find a good group to ask. Newb friendly corps, hang out in places like Arnon and check in local for newbie help (but avoid the scammers ...do not send money to anyone! lol)

Edited to add: When I do get back on there, all you guys gotta tell me where you're at. I fly an Armageddon Battleship and can field 5 drones at once :D

Always popular on missions where newbs are getting their asses handed to them, lol. Common conversation goes something like, "Ok, I'll tank, you guys just fly around and shoot shit. Need help, I'll let the dogs (drones) loose."

There's just something not as dorky about an MMO where people don't really actually role play. No one takes it seriously like WoW. No "sword of infinite power" bullshit. Just cool spaceships flying around blowin' stuff up.

I played it for a couple months, it is a very huge game. I enjoyed the time I spent playing. Went to 0.0 space a few times in an old corporation i was with.. but that ended quickly when another corp declared war on us  Since then, the corp disbanded, and my membership ran out shortly afterward, so I haven't played in a while. :) I like EVE way more than WoW.. not only is it bound to one server, but it's difficulty makes it much more of an "adult" game. An added plus i like, is real time pilot skill training. No need to spend hours and hours at the desk to be able to use better equipment.
