You don't have to do it. Some of us have done it because it keeps the a/c drain drip from constantly hitting the frame. It's a pretty easy to do you need a 5/8" wide hose 24" long, a clamp to secure it once you slide it over the existing drain hose and some zip ties to secure the new hose to the frame. There is a thread on here that has pictures on how to do it, just couldn't find it.

EDIT: Here is the link to thread on how to do the drain mod: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/rust-on-frame-with-a-c-drain-mod-fix.444138/

Tire shine, even tho I told them not to put it on *facepalm*

I’m having discount swap these out for 285/75R16 STT PRO.

Agree 100% There is a $10,000 "Market Adjustment" on that second sticker... Wonder if it comes with any kind of Lube when they bend you over?

The Pro is a cool truck, but it's not a $10,000-over-MSRP-level of cool.

kinda both to be honest. These Yokes appear really really skinny to me, don’t care for the looks of it. I also have a vibration in the wheel with these, even after they spun them down on the road force balancer. I loved my STT PROs (265/75) on the 2020 taco I traded in for this one. And just figured what the hell, might as well jump to 285s and see what’s what. Discount tire is letting me swap for a $280 diff. Should be there tomorrow or Friday and I will have them done same day.

Thanks for posting these pics HD1911, your truck looks fantastic!! :)
Just to be clear, these Geolander MT’s that in your pics are also 285/75R16’s?
You probably didn’t drive too much on them and you mentioned the vibrations....did you notice any rubbing in the fenders or on the UCA? Thanks again for posting these pictures, that color is crazy cool!

No, they are 265/75R16. They are super skinny/undersized imho. On truck, they measure 31.25” tall x 8.25” tread width. Yeah, only drove maybe 100 miles on em so far. Just prefer the STT PROs, so going back to them, but just in a bigger size this time (285/75). And thanks man, I really do love this color.

Looking good. After seeing the picks on the width of those Geolanders, I fully agree with your assessment. Waiting on the pics of the new ones. Good luck.

Thanks for the clarification. I looked at 285’s vs. 265’s and I have to say that the 285’s look a helluva lot better. Thanks in advance for posting pics and letting us know about handling, MPG, and whatever else you observe between those two sizes.

Have you done anything with the suspension or will those fit on a stock pro?

On the similar colour scheme topic; I was looking around (drooling) at MTBs and guess what the cool kids are riding these days (in Colour terms!)

(I've not seen any of these in person - but could be a close match as they appeared in videos...
(If one were to be so inclined, that is...)

Edit: These bikes look good... I was reading some accolades. BUt I am sticking with my NORCO Sight C1 (even though it is BROWN).

You know, at almost 50 years old, I've owned a lot of cool (and a lot of less cool) vehicles in my life, including some pretty shouty Italian motorcycles's. Never in my life have I had so many people stop me to oggle and wayne about the Lunar Rock color. Seriously, it's rare that I stop for gas when someone doesn't comment about how good it is. Just yesterday, a guy doing some construction work in the neighborhood, walked halfway down the block to look at it and tell me how it's the coolest color truck he's ever seen in his life.

I regularly ask them what color they see and I've heard blue, beige, grey, sage, geenish-grey, never "mint"

On a side note, I'm not really a 29er guy, but the Following is a helluva bike. It's crazy how good a single pivot can be. And yep, I bought the "Almost Sage" pixel phone because I'm a dork.

Same I've never had so many people while driving/parked ask and take pictures of my truck/car. They always want to know what color it is and tell me how bad ass it is. I've had people flag me down while driving and tell me how good the truck looks. I think its the best color yet for the TRD Pro line up. To think I almost bought a army green colored tacoma and pass on this is crazy. The color grows on me everyday.
