What kind of HIDs?

I want to get an HID kit for my 2005 tacoma and im trying to find the best kind. What brand do you have and how do you like them??

 

Define "best kind"?

 

best light output would be 5000-6000 k anything higher has less distance 3000 to 3500k are a deep yellow and work well for fog ,haze,heavy rain ,snow

 

"best kind" as in best brand and best quality... i plan on getting 6000k hi/lows and i havent decided on the fogs. post some pics if you got em!

 

I have bought several kits from myDepots on e-bay...........the bulbs are made in japan and the ballast's are made in germany. I have converted two sets of Hella 500's to H.I.D. light 5000k bulb.........going on a year now with ZERO problems. I use, run them alot....especially offroad at night.

Dude talk to Slim, he will get you a deal. Check the Group Buy's. I just got 6k 50W, and fogs, they look bad ass.

 

Absolutley if he holds another group buy I would contact him. I just added my .02 to try an point him in the right direction as far as info.

If you want something reliable and quality pm me....as with anyting you get what you pay for.

Just because its cheap and turn off and on does not mean its great, light ouput, scatter, glare, system amperage, etc all come into play.

i got the 35w 4300k bi xenons....they come in all different color temps too

for HIDs the 35w kits are the norm...ususally better....the 55w kits are marginally brighter but don't last nearly as long or as reliable.


just remember to aim your headlights down when u get em'
