Got an itch to change up the look of my 09 5 lug. Was wondering if I could run 5 to 6 lug adapters and run a set of stock third gen 16’ wheels with my current falken 31x10.50r16 tires? Anyone have any advice? Would running the adapters make the tires scrub? Just tired of my plain black bullet hole wheels.

You can do it as long as u match ur offset or more, and u make sure to clean em all the time if u off-road. @5 Lug Fury ran em in the rear and had issues, he can give better insight than me

Got a lot of stuff lol
Yeah every one I used eventually had bolts seize and strip out. A lot of work to get ride of them. I would suggest looking at the style you like and find rims that would just bolt in.

What brand adapters did you run? Assuming not ebay or Amazon?

It's not the brand it's the design. The 2 piece adapters suck. Even after changing all the hardware from fastenel the still got seized and had to be cut off.
