    Hello! First time truck owner here and new to the forum. I'd like to introduce my new to me truck. Basically this is the cheapest double cab I could find within a week or so. 01 Double cab V6 2wd with rear locker automatic 180k miles. I paid $9200... Good deal? Bad Deal? ehh just mediocre deal I suppose. But I needed a vehicle to hand off my old 4runner to my wife to replace her 93 Camry wagon.

    It looks way better in pictures, the paint is okay, lots of little bumps and bruises. 180,000 miles, two recorded accidents but no frame damage, clean title. ive already addressed a few issues but these pictures are from 1-2-21 from the day I bought it.

    The 4runner in the back is going to my wife, but was the inspiration for me getting this truck. My green 97 4runner (4wd,v6, no lockers) has 320k miles on it and has been a life saver, so I figured why not buy a truck with the same motor right? lol :)

    The interior was in shambles. guy i bought it from pulled up with a white Pomeranian, so naturally the whole truck was covered in white dog hair and smelled like pee.
    Ill be posting more pictures when I have time or an update. I've already got a viper alarm system and this Sony avx5000 (sorry haven't taken a picture of it yet)g158XAV5000-F.jpg
    As much as id love a 4wd manual badass truck, I will be using this truck to commute about 65 miles a day so my main goal was to do a little updating and cleaning. Ive already removed the seats and shampooed the carpet but ill need to clean the actual seats a little better, I still smell dog -_-

    Brake fluid looks dark.
    Use a turkey baster to remove and replace with fresh DOT 3/4 before doing a fluid flush.
