nope... custom draco one off springs in the front that are 1.75 lower than factory but 15 to 20% stiffer. A set of custom cut allstar aluminum blocks in the rear with factory original leaf springs. The lowering blocks were 2.50 but it was a touch low for me and would bottom out a bit with the aftermarket bump stops.. so I had them shaved back a 1/4 of an inch of the blocks, bring it to a 2.25 inch block with Allstar 2 degree wedges and longer alignment pins that came with the wedges.4616846314313.jpg 41696245869413.jpg

I did the same thing to both trucks, of course with the custom made front springs they were different because of the extra weight of the cab and SR5 features but sitting stance was the same. The Draco springs were expensive and take about 6 weeks to get made but worth every penny.

Back five years ago I had this 93 Isuzu pup that had a c-notch and air shocks. Last carbureted engine sold in a production vehicle too. Five speed manual and started even at -20 after sitting for four months. I miss this truck all the time.
Edit: Found a pic of the frame. And I actually had two of these, the second one was for parts and had a rusted in half frame.27916F5B-8C23-499E-AFF2-D72BAAB7C6D9.jpg A312B988-2901-4727-81D5-C3665E6B0999.jpg C640F09C-B5B8-4C5B-BC57-E5E28241D066.jpg

My first was a 1994 4x2 Toyota truck that looked just like this one:

Same color, same stripes...22RE with a 5-speed manual transmission. It had a LCE header, larger throttle body, K&N "cone filter," Addco sway bars, Bilstein shocks, Borla cat-back exhaust, high-flow cat, LCE "dual roller" timing chain conversion kit, LCE FI camshaft, as well as several other upgrades...

It was killed by a semi on Friday afternoon of the 2008 Mother's Day weekend as I was leaving work. Needless to say, I didn't make it home to visit my mom that weekend. :(

RIP little truck. You left us too soon.

Making Camry wheels look downright SEXY here!!!

I too went for a custom one off drop spring from Deaver in the front for 2.65" drop with 20% stiffer rate above factory. In the rear I had the same shop de-arch my factory leafs for roughly 3" of drop.

Sadly I dont have any pics of my old 86 red regular cab.. but here is Trudy my current "mini-obsession":

First mini was a 90 Yota on hydros, 100 spoke Dayton’s, walkthrough and a phantom grill. Unfortunately it was many years ago so no pics. here’s a few of the others I’ve owned of the last couple years that I have pics of in my phone...

My first truck right out of high school back in 2003...caught the bug...had a blast with this guy...so many memories.

    P5010122.jpg

Then decided I wanted to try a Taco...second go at building something...this was my baby and I regret selling it...built this thing from around 2005-2007 or so and sold it...wanted to try out the car scene which I regret now. Surprisingly, it just popped up for sale so I'm glad it's still out there.

    2005-10-31 truck 5.jpg

Then 13 years later I needed a beater truck for work and this beauty popped up with only 50k miles. Intended to keep it stock but started just freshening it up a bit...my daily driver today.
