Nice. It’s been a while since I’ve bought one. The last one I bought was a delica. Wanting a pm3 bad, but having a hard time spending $150 on one knife right now lol

Hey those are nice too. But there is definitely a whole niche market of higher end very nice folders like that. Some of them are absolutely stunning with antler or bone. If you're lucky getting one in Ivory.

No it's not. You have NOS ivory as well as ivory that is harvested in a certain manner can be as well. Like my dad's Baby grand all the keys are ivory but it was made in the 1890s. Someone could salvage those keys and make other things out of them as well. That type stuff. Mother of pearl and there is one other shell I forget the name that's really pretty too.

As for the wobbles you could do two pins, or lower the pin location and put a tab up from the bumper between the two swingouts, pin goes through right swing, bumper tab, out the left swingout. Clearance with the tailgate will be the issue. Could holesaw some clearance into the tailgate tho

FREEZING FOG AGAIN: Again this morning “freezing fog” has formed over parts of North/Central Alabama… this is simply fog that forms with surface temperatures below freezing. It can lead to rime ice collecting on exposed surfaces, and can lead to slick spots on bridges and overpasses. A freezing fog advisory is in effect for areas along and north of I-59; temperatures will be above freezing by 8:30-9:00.

Look for a nice warm-up today… after the cold start we expect a high between 55 and 59 degrees this afternoon with a partly to mostly sunny sky. Clouds return quickly tonight, however, ahead of a cold front, and a few showers are possible as it moves through. Moisture will be limited, and rain amounts will be light and spotty.

TOMORROW AND THE WEEKEND: Colder air returns to the state. Look for a mix of sun and clouds each day; the high tomorrow will be in the upper 40s, followed by low to mid 40s Saturday. Then, on Sunday, the high will be close to 50 as a warming trend begins. The weather will be generally dry on these three days, although a few snow flurries are not out of the question for the northern quarter of the state tomorrow night into Saturday morning. No accumulation or impact is expected. Early morning lows over the weekend will be in the 28-32 degree range.

NEXT WEEK: Highs will be in the 50s most of the week; the weather looks dry Monday through Wednesday, but rain will likely return at some point Thursday or Friday as a storm system lifts out of the Southwest U.S. Remains to be seen how much rain we see, but it will be too warm for any winter weather mischief. See the Weather Xtreme video for maps, graphics, and more details.

GRAUPEL: Many communities saw graupel yesterday; some some it is a new term, but that precipitation type has been around forever. Graupel is a type of frozen precipitation that is also referred to as snow grains. It forms when snowflakes fall through a layer of supercooled water (water that remains liquid in a below-freezing environment), and those supercooled droplets coat the snowflakes with a layer of ice in a process known as riming. Graupel pellets are white, roundish, soft and spongy, and are easily crushed, bearing a resemblance to Dippin Dots.

ON THIS DATE IN 1972: In Loma, Montana, the temperature soared from 54 degrees below zero to 49 degrees above zero on January 14-15, 1972. The 103 degree change is the greatest ever recorded in the world for a 24 hour period.

You need to weld on a piece of flatbar on one side of the swing arm and a rubber pad on the other swing arm were my blue mark is. Then where the red mark is coming around the side weld in one of these latches. Behind the swing arms weld in a stop plate with more rubber pads. That way there will be tension on the swing arm and it wont rattle. Looks like you already have some sort of stop on back side

Or you could just leave that pin in and weld the latch in with the stop pads.

Good idea, pics help me visualize it better. I think I’m gonna try to put a tab in the middle and see if that’s enough. I do like the idea of having tension on it tho, that’ll be my plan B

Gears just arrived. I’ve been researching the install and it doesn’t look too bad, but I’m curious about a few things if anyone can throw some pointers my way. For the front- what gets transferred over to the new core? I’m seeing the ADD tube, but it looks like a snap ring and something else in there? What’s all that? Haha

rear- I saw someone that managed to not disconnect the brakes, that would be ideal. Anything to worry about or watch for when pulling the axles out? I see that the elocker has a piece that needs to move back, will that be obvious when I’m looking at it?

Need some advice. Going to The Exhaust Shop in Pelham to get exhaust reroute done Monday. Think I’m going to ask to run the pipe behind the transfer case as I have seen in many pictures. Any downside? Skids from most places can still be added later if needed with the pipe there right? Amy other ideas that work better? Thanks for any advice.

This is what I did. I added a heat shield (not seen in the photo) to keep some heat from the exhaust out of the TC.
