Re-posting from my Nextdoor feed: A local who lives in the Gatewood area had his 1988 Xtra Cab Toyota truck stolen last night during the storm. This is not a photo of his truck but it is the same model and graphics, although his is a darker grey and has different wheels. If you see anything that matches that description please notify the police and feel free to message me so I can relay the information to the owner.

Unfortunately, the owner owns many vehicles and can't recall the license on this truck.upload_2021-1-13_13-34-1.jpg
I've already referred them to the Tukwila address posted a couple of weeks ago in regard to a different stolen truck.

Damn still without power? Heard there were also power lines on I5 at some point. Storm came through fairly strong. Ours was off from 0600-1100 luckily just made me shift my work day.

Ours went out around 1 or 2 am. It was a mess getting out of lake this morning. All the lights were out on highway 9

My power went out around 6:30am yesterday and my wife said it came back on again around noon. Leaving at 4:45am there were lots of branches on the roads but otherwise smooth sailing. I did see a guy blow through the intersection at hwy 9 and Market Pl doing about 50 even though they had flares marking all 4 corners of the intersection. I pulled out just far enough to see both ways and floored it across once I couldn't see any more lights coming.

Mine went out at 12:10 am. Was woke up a minute before it went out. Got up at 6 am and plugged in the house. Fired up the 10k generator. First thing I did when I bought a house. Get it wired for a genny.

pretty much a 24 hour outage here. had generator running but Comcast was down too so I couldn't work and kids couldn't school. No cell phone signal either. All I had was HAM radio and InReach to talk to anyone.

Our water service had their generator blow up and we've been told to conserve water.

Damn you guys got hit hard all over. Hoping that your not all impacted much longer.

Random aside I was lazy and didn’t remove the tires on install of my u-bolt flip kit and didn’t cut down the u-bolts yet. I was just going to do it on the 500-mile retorque.

Has anyone run u-bolt flip kits without trimming (wheelers off-road with super bumps if that matters) without issue?

    Turd gen guys.

Check your coolant level. I noticed a very small leak of coolant on my garage floor the other day. It hasn't come back, but my coolant level is below the medium mark in my tank and there were some spots in the engine bay where you can see coolant sprayed a little bit. It might be this transfer pipe. Going to go get it checked under warranty on Monday, but take a look because it's about 850 to do it at the dealer if its not under warranty anymore.

Water can run down A pillar, not just straight to headliner.

Are you v6/6 speed or 2.7/5 speed? My 2011 taco was the 4x4, 2.7, 5mt, and I used it to move my travel trailer (15 ft, 3000 lbs dry) and I found myself not using 5th much for towing it since I didn't have the torque.
I put on 265/75/16 c rated and noticed the power loss and fuel economy loss immediately. I didn't feel inclined to regear, since I wasn't going to get any larger of tires with that setup.

If you aren't set on duratracs, I know you can get 30s in E rated pretty easily. I've seen 245/75/16 on a few 3/4 ton work vans as well as other full size trucks.

I was at my mom's in Bothell from Mon afternoon until yesterday. Her place is normally one of the first to lose power. I saw the lights flicker twice and that was it.

My in laws used to live there and I used to live a few minutes north of there and on the other side of 9. I don't miss dealing with the traffic around there. 204 was always worse than 9 I thought, but when the lights aren't working, people around there become idiots in a hurry.

anyone ever have a heavy person in your passenger seat and it fucks up the passenger occupancy sensor? It shuts off the passenger airbag until fixed. This keeps happening and the dealership has to recalibrate it for like $200. I haven't been able to find a way to recalibrate myself. I wonder if they can recalibrate with an extra 30lbs sitting on it.

Neither. 5 Speed Auto. Knowing 5th gear is usually useless for me is the main reason I'd like to regear. I'm sure it'll pick me up at least a small amount of my MPG losses.

As for the Duratracs, yeah, I'm pretty well set on them. I've really liked how they've treated me. Also love their traction in snow which I hit once in awhile. That and I think they are one of the best looking tires, too!

No, reason being I bought my truck with 37k and put front brakes on at 140k and doubt that they where replaced before I bought it. I figured if they lasted that long go OEM again.
