What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Washed it today and admired how much I like those new red/black tails.
was going to try and modify (hack) the old ones with clear lenses and paint them black, but don’t think I want to switch them out anymore.
**After posting the pic, I realized I missed the mud flaps and back of the softopper... Gonna have to fix that.

 

Vacuumed out the cowl vents. I can sleep now!

 

Installed the 2016-19 led bed light kit ... it’s very useful with a tonneau cover.

 

Some new stuff went one today! Nobody told me adding and upgrading stuff to this truck would become an obsession.

I pulled my Pro grille and replaced it with a 2020 Off Road grill. Also wrapped the emblem with some vinyl from Kevin @kcm808. IG handle is c_mento_taco_808.







Matches my steering wheel now, haha.

It's a vinyl overlay and no worries, TEQ is the Toyota name in Japanese.

I tested out my new loading ramp to get my mini bike into the bed. Fits great, I was afraid that the handle bars would hit the topper, but its perfect! Now I just need to modify my bed bars so I can keep my half basket and put the mini bike in the bed.

I am not affiliated with him, I purchased the overlay for myself from another Taco owners referral. Kevin does make custom overlays too. I've seen the TEQ one in multiple colors as well as football team logos and other.

I sent him a PM via instagram. I’m not a big fan of the Toyota chrome logo but love the 2020 grille. The overlay seems to be exactly what will compliment the grille nicely. Plus, it’s always good to support great product. Thanks for the information
