I have a 12 Tacoma. I continued to get water on the passenger floorboard. I’ve chased and chased the leak and still stumped. I have removed the cowl, I have extended my evap tube coming from the firewall and cleaned the evap tube on the inside. I am still getting water through the HVAC system and my cabin filter is soaked!! What in the hell else could it be!? I have replaced blower motors due to the water damage. Help!?

Fresh air intake is usually the problem.

There is a service bulletin on cowl water leaks - Tacoma-TSB-BO00405r-05-Leak.

Suggest Search TW for thread name: "Passenger leak floorboard 2006 Tacoma". In Post # 5 provides a download for the TSB.

Good Luck, hope this helps - It’s worth at least taking a look.

The windshield has been replaced. This is why I first thought it had started. The reason why I replaced the cowl. When I told the dealership about the Service Bulletin they told me they didn’t have anything in the system. Even though I had the SB from the Toyota website itself.
I have searched YouTube as well as this forum for everything. It’s making me crazy. Thanks for the tips. I’ll keep chasing it.

If the Air filter is getting wet it has to be coming in from the Cowl Area mentioned above.
