I opted for the following....mainly because I already had one laying around in my garage. Worked great. It’s deep so I don’t have to worry about my bottle flopping around as much. And it has snaps on it. Fed it through the console and snapped it in place. Hood to go!

Done. The yellow item is a seat-belt cutter/window-punch.

Great thread! I just ordered a pair and, as many people have mentioned, Taylor at Static Climbing is helpful and super responsive (even on a Sunday night!).

can someone give me a measurement on how large the opening is when fully opened? Want to check for my off-brand jumbo water bottle.

I enjoyed this mod so much that I put my wife's sewing machine to use and made these. Wife always carries a 40oz bottle and I carry a 30oz.

    Hey, Folks.

I just wanted to toss up a big recommendation for Taylor. I bought a 64oz insulated growler from Costco, which fits in none of my 11 cup holders.

I chatted with her and she is making a set to fit. She said that she has sizes up to the larger 64oz Yeti Ramblers. 1in greater diameter than mine.

    I'm stoked to get these.

    Just wow!

I got the cupholders today. Shaving some of the lower edge off was easy as pie. They work friggin' great!

I used a bit of dowel rod. Drilled a 1/16in hole. And, ran some baling wire through only one of the loops so the dowel won't slip out.

    Check it out:

Thanks, @samjpatt for kicking this off.

    Another happy customer!

Wanted to get one for the wife as she is always packing around her large water bottle but ended up buying two of them and use them all the time and not just for water bottles. And Taylor was awesome to work with!!!

For those looking for a frugal solution, Home Depot has a small tool sack with similar dimensions to Taylor's chalk bag. At less than $6, it is worth a go if you're on the fence about this mod. EDIT: A 32oz Nalgene fits snug, but not right.

Taylor's bags look better, and support small business, so there is that. At some point, I'll probably upgrade for looks alone.

I wonder in Taylor’s business planning if she ever considered she’d corner a custom niche market for her chalk bags being adapted as nalgene holders in third Gen Tacoma’s. She has embraced it, and I support her innovations!

I don't think so, but she is nailing it. Being ultra friendly and incredibly responsive is the icing on the cake.

Just bought two bags from Static Climbing, fully modded. I have needed this mod since 2018...I always lean my 32oz Yeti Rambler in this exact spot on the passenger side. It's like I knew I needed it, before I knew I needed it...

Thanks Taylor, can't wait to get these in. And shipping should be quick...local San Diegoan, San Diegon, San Diegonite...whatever.

Just a recommendation, I’ve seen guys on this thread use bolts and nuts and Bic pens to hold the bags underneath the trim but I think a zip tie is the simplest/cheapest install route. Don’t have to worry about rattles or a open ended bolt slipping off and what not. FWIW:thumbsup:

How do you fashion the zip tie to keep it snug in place?
