40" lightbar, I run the single row and @Manfred runs the fancier dual row version of it. Picked it up on sale for $100 but i don't seem to see it anymore. might have been just a clearance thing.

pod lights; i grabbed the "white flood" version, it's more of a Spot flood combo than a flood.
the spot beam one is a true spot from the looks of things.

When curbside pickup first started after Christmas, they included a $10 off coupon (min. $20 purchase) when I picked up the order. I promptly used the coupon on a subsequent order. Of course they gave another coupon when I picked that up. Talk about feeding an addiction. :bananadead:

Take that tree strap back. It is not for use with a truck.

My tree saver is rated for 30K lbs and truck use.

What if you go to help someone with a full size F250 that has a small to medium load in the back or something and use that? Nothing with an ATV rating should be in a recovery kit for a truck.

Why do you say that? 2021 F250 fully loaded to GVWR is about 10,000 lbs, which this strap can pull up a 50% grade buried to the hubs (1.5x weight multiplier). And that's with the strap looped thru itself in a "noose" config. If it's wrapped around an axle with both ends connected to the rope, then the capacity doubles. There will be no safety margin at that point, but it's a contrived situation. Nobody we wheel with is approaching anywhere near 10,000 lbs.

I think we normally have to at least double it or even triple.
My truck is 5000lb, I use 20k lbs + rated stuff. Which should be a 10000lb min, etc...

But I am sure there is guys here that can explain better.

Alright. Reviews look pretty good and the price is right. Item is no longer in my cart. Haven't been given a delivery date but I can wait. Won't be installing until the weather is warmer anyway.

If you're buried to the top of your tire, the extraction force will be roughly double the weight of your rig (10,000 lb). Add additional derating factors for inclines and mechanical breakages (collapsed suspension, tire off bead, etc.). So yes, 20,000 lb equipment is therefore a comfortable number even in the worst situations. But this 15,000 lb strap will still do the job.

Erickson's page for this particular strap P/N 09506 says 7500 lb max vehicle weight: https://ericksonmfg.com/product/4-x-6-15000-lb-tree-saver-tow-straps/ And it's a company based in southern Ontario (i.e. subject to Canadian lawsuits, etc.) not like some untraceable vendor on AliExpress.

Is it easy to access the tail running lights from the cubby beside the outlet? Anybody got a pic?

The cubby pulls out after removing the 6 torx bolts.
Route the wires while looking at it underneath the truck.
Remove the tail light (two bolts and two plastic clips) to access the wiring.
