Not gonna lie Toyota makes some of the best wiper blades on the market. My Lexus blades were legit 3 years old and had just started performing like 6 month old parts store blades.

as far as off the shelf blades go bosch icon if you have to. Not too many stores carry silicone type. They’d go out of business if they didn’t sell a pair of overpriced blades every 6 months.

I will have to get some. Same with the bed mat. The one from Toyota is really nice.

I thought that it was just me when I realize my wipers weren’t clearing all the water and leaving makes. But it has been about year and from reading the comment that seems like the case. But in my other cars I’ve always stuck with oem inserts

Thanks! I looked them up on BAM Wholesale parts and it said it doesn't fit my 2021, but I don't believe it and I am ordering them anyway, $7.79 each. I also ordered a spare set of the blades themselves. Here in Arizona wiper blades do not last long, so I always have a spare set. When I trade out the old blades I then install the refills at my leisure to be used next time.

My factory blades suck. Truck is only 5 months old and the passenger side blade doesn't do anything. Planning on ordering some bosch icons later this weekend.

    Nice!

Here in PA wipers hard ever Last much more than a year. Hot humid summer and sometimes bitter cold winter weather with snow and ice isn't kind to them.
I'm picky too once the streak or make noise they go.

I'm really impressed that the dealership sells refills and for a decent price. Not even sour part stores sell refills anymore.

my Toyota factory wiper insert refills always last for at least 2 and sometimes 3 years with no streaking, missed spots, chattering, etc. But my climate is mild and I hand wash my truck (no drive throughs with weird chemicals). And the truck is garaged, and I rainX my windshield from time to time.

Wipers can be found just about anywhere. Your climate, use, windshield condition will be the biggest factor in the wiper "life."

I make a habit of replacing blades 2x each year, Spring and Fall. 3 vehicle with 8 wipers. All get RainX treatment at least 2X/year.

I spent the money on the Bosch blades, and I wasn't impressed. The driver's side was especially bad, leaving streaks and missed spots on the downstroke. I haven't found a blade that works well on this truck, regardless of how well they're maintained. Currently running the Michelin blades and they skip and chatter too. Maybe the arm is tweaked.

Before shutting off your vehicle, get in the habit to turn off the wipers.
Doing this helps IMMENSELY when temps are below freezing

Modeling wiper blades off of a tire where the #1 complaint is wet road traction, I dunno about that.

Just going to hydroplane all over the windshield

When it's snowing/icy I turn my heater vent to floor, turn the fan off, turn down the heat range 1/4 mile from my destination and very seldom have an icy windshield/wipers when I return. When hand washing lift your wiper arms up and wipe the dirt off the blades and yes, I RainX the windshield and blades. All this adds to long lasting blades.

Bosch Icon blades are the only correct answer.
