Hey y’all just trying to see what the community out here by Bragg is like. Just PCSd here from JBLM and of course we took advantage of a lot of trails and adventuring up through the PNW. Looking to continue that out here now that we’re back for what looks like a while. Maybe get a few meet and greets going, on to a few trail rides. I’ve seen a couple dope looking second gens around. Anyone hit Pisgah trails or the Georgia Traverse trail as well as hurricane creek? I’d love tog eat some input and see what we’re working with. Thanks!

That thing is clean man When I was first here a few years back I knew people would hit area J or the trails out back behind Gruber Rd.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Welcome, I used to get up in the NTA quite a bit, but times have changed. I much preferred getting back there on my KTM than a taco. Get out on the beach and outer banks now and avoid the crowds. Pisgah and the smokies are my favorite. Uwharrie gets pretty jeepy sometimes, but anything is good with friends.

If anybody is interested in cab mount chops, gusseted spindles, cam tabs, brake conversions, solar setups, help with installs, coilover spring rate changes or just about any welding let me know. Not in Fayetteville, but just up the road in Apex, NC.

Man honestly they’re good to go off the lot. My TRDOR was killing trails bone stock back in the PNW pretty easily. The stuff back here doesn’t really compare honestly. The miles speak for themselves. What do you got in mind for your build out?

My plans are everything that serves a purpose really. Just added a tonneau cover to help keep things dry/secure on family trips. I like to take the camper out when I can also, so I'll probably add a moly panel in the bed to hold my shovel and axe. Eventually a more aggressive tire and I'm debating an OME lift and 4.88 gears.

I don't plan to ever get too wild with it. Just add stuff as I go and sort it out. I might entertain the OVT tune as well, but I need to read up on it a little more.

Anything I do will be more into overloading with the family than hard off-roading. Can't afford to break my DD.

Not on Bragg, but just up the road about half an hour west in Moore County. Mine has been mostly a pavement princess since I bought it last October. I've dumped a lot of money into it already, but I want to get out and do some mild trails and what not.

I definitely hear you. I love occasional hard off roading but we’ve been veering into over landing mostly as well. Two cross country trips and several trips to CO has given us a lot of time to shake out the kinks and find the mistakes. Two kids and two dogs with A whole lotta miles lol. Thank god for the JRE. I’m definitely trying to do the Georgia traverse this summer and possibly prep for next years Southern Expeditions Overland Challenge up in Uwharrie.

I was up on Vass rd earlier today. So many off shoots and muddy trails. Looked like so much fun. Definitely worth checking out. I just don’t know what the MP situation is like down here or if you need a specific pass. Etc.

So far I’ve never been stopped in the training areas. I try to know where the lakes are and keep that as my destination.
