so i just purchased a 2009 tacoma without fog lights . I was wondering if there is any company out there that sells fog light kits to add them to vehicles without.

I installed the Winjet 2nd gen kit from Amazon this past summer. Comes with everything you need besides a fuse tap. I replaced the switch with a red backlit one because I didn’t like the bright green one that comes with it. Also a good idea to seal the fog housings before install, some people complain about water getting inside with the aftermarket lights. I sealed mine with some silicone rtv and no leaks so far, and the fogs are brighter than my stock headlights.

There is an outside chance that your truck is pre wired for fogs and you'd only need to add a few bits to get them going.

First step is to look for unused harness/plugs taped to the lighting harness in the area of where the fogs mount.

    Yeah.
My 2009 was already wired, but I had to get a relay and a switch. I just ordered those from Toyota of Dallas.

Agree with previous poster on sealing them -- my first set did leak, and the chrome reflective coating pitted and peeled. I sealed the second set and didn't have issues.

If you're going to add a set of fog lights, why not add a good set of fog lights instead of the (generally) junk ones that come in complete kits. The link below will show you what works the best. Then just buy the wiring and relays as needed. They're available in kits too.
