I have a Bravo rack. Will I need to make any modifications to install my Tepui Roof Top Tent? I current run it on bed bars, but think I want to end up with a topper too.

    Thank You

You should not have to! Should bolt right in. You could always run our tent risers if necessary

Does anyone know if UpTop has a discount code or when one will be available?

Is the website correct on a 5 week lead time for a Tacoma Bed Rack? Is that realistic?

    Thank you!!!!

So I’m sitting in my truck in the garage cuz that’s the only time we get to spend together these days and it occurs to me that the front handle on my alpha, while not perfectly located, might work for an an oh $hit grab handle for off-roading. I had considered the aftermarket handle on the A pillar but not a fan. Anybody actually use the alpha handle off road? (While driving). I do miss the A pillar handle on my 3rd gen 4Runner in the rock gardens.

If it makes anyone feel better I waited somewhere around 10-12 weeks on a 4-6 wk lead time estimate, and now that’s it’s on I can safely tell you it was worth the wait. Hang in there fellas, you won’t be disappointed

I've used it from the driver's seat, to do a Nascar exit for photographs, or directing people but while moving; no, I'm to short to just reach up and hold it while moving, it's a smidge uncomfortable, more of fingertips only hang if you will.

What awning are you running with your upTop Alpha or Bravo rack? I'm looking for pics mounted and deployed if you want to share.

I've been looking at 180° and 270° awnings from a few different companies, but would love to see some real life, everyday carries and deployments with a cab mounted rack.

My concern is a cab mounted awning of that size might just be too darn long. I see them mostly mounted to bed racks or rails, and I am actually trying to sell my bed rack and just be open bed.

Not sure that you can run a 270 awning on a cab rack mount, unless part of it will cover the bed as well. I have looked at some 180 awning, they're nice but they actually don't seem to cover as much as a 6.5ft or 8ft ARB awning?
