which sub for 4 channel amp

Want to just stick to one amp if possible.

The amp is Pioneer gm9500 75rms x4x4ohm. I will use this to run id ctx65cs up front. I can bridge 2 channels for 200 rms for a sub. Is 75rms for component ok and 200rms for single sub. If so which sub do you recommend. I have a dbl cab and don't need to hide a sub behind rear seat, just something small that can be easily removed if i need backseat space (never have passengers only dogs).

I already have a small sub box that can fit a deep 12", but just want a decent sub to run off the bridged amp. Or should i just bridge the amp to 2 channel and push the component speakers with 200rms.

 

You don't have enough speaker to bridge the components to 200W. 75W each should be fine. Which sub you choose depends on the box you have. Try to find something that matches the box well that can run around 250W RMS and you should be fine.

thanx for replying, i was hoping 75rms was enough for components. So a 250 rms max. sub is what i should look for? I'm just going to keep it simple and get a SVC 4ohm sub - any recommends that i should look at.

 

Hey Amo! That is the exact amplifier I purchased to do exactly what you want to do! I use the front channels for the components(MB Quart PVI 216) and bridged the rear channels for the subwoofer(Polk MM1040) The components sound incredible. The sub could use a few more watts but it sounds really good considering I was going for sound quality and not cab-shaking bass. A fantastic amplifier and extremely small!!
