Anyone on here ever replaced the turn signals with foglights on a 1st generation? I have an '03 and have always wondered if it would work to rewire the turn signals to the park lights and install fog lights in place of the signals. If not, anyway to install fog/driving lights without dropping 150+ on a light bar?

I haven't heard of anyone doing so. Are you planning to change out the OEM lens? If not, the heat from the fogs could melt the lens.

The stock blinker lenses aren't designed to give either a decent fog or driving light pattern.

Yes, some people have turned the stock blinkers into 'constant on' lights, but they don't contribute to better road illumination.

For functional lighting you need to consider swapping in some dedicated fog or driving lights into the blinker locations.
