I stick with the name brands that you know are task specific. For my dash I use Mrs Dash. It doesn't look super great but it smells like a garlic pizza whenever I leave it parked on a sunny day.

Adams Interior Detail or Griots Interior detailer or Meg Xpress Wax. I also use Xpress wax on seals. Megs Xpress wax is also Ultimate Spray Wax.

303 is simple and good, tried and true.

Adam’s Interior detailer if you want a more marketed product. Has a nice scent, ease of use but in the end it just does the job.

Just don’t mix anything. Some chemicals don’t react well together. Only reason I can think of to mix is to dilute which is pointless. Average consumers of detailing products take so long to finish using one bottle that the cost isn’t a big deal or forgotten in the closet after couple uses.

I’ve been using shine supply clean and shine a lot lately. Not real shiny which I love. I also keep CarPro pearl in the rotation.

Whatever plastic Toyota uses for dashboards, even on my 2003, it shows no sign of cracking or splitting after 18 years. I’m guessing it will go another 18 years too. So, if you don’t want a shiny dashboard top, just use a little soap and clean pure water! I doubt my having used a plastic protector has kept it looking new all these years. Toyota simply makes them bulletproof using upgraded plastic (as compared to 4 decades ago when they used to crack and split).

My 08 is holding up aswell. One thing I do not like about the plastic is it's very easy to scratch, but I'd rather have that than the type of cracks that we used to have in dashboards.....

Gee, I must really be bassakwards. I use just plain ol' water. I mean the dash will get a little dusty, but it certainly wouldn't call for a "cleaner".

At most, I'll use a very dilute Simple Green/Water to clean scuff spots. The dash doesn't get scuffed.

My dash has dust older than this thread. I would imagine a damp rag would wipe it right off.

Does the 303 work well with the grippy, texturized, rubber like stuff that they put on the doors and passenger’s side dash on the 3rd gens?

303 should be good on any of the interior surfaces. Outside it's only good until it rains.

Aerospace 303 but I clean with the Meguires "stolen recipe" in a spray bottle...

    1 1/2 cup water
    1/4 cup white vinegar
    2 drops Dawn
    (all in a spray bottle)

    Everything interior.

Supposedly, putting junk on your dash like Armor All doesn’t help, but actually evaporates over time, drying out some of the properties of the plastic. Today’s dashboards have a long lasting sheen to them by default. A mild soapy cleanser is all that’s needed.

i can see that. Its very likely that modern materials can withstand that type of weathering without treatment but I'd bet that most of our obsessions on interior cleanings is because we've all inherited a shitbox to drive at one point that had a headline falling, cracked dash, and some torn seats. never again. ha ha ha.

if you are using Armor All, you are doing wrong to begin with. Most are using a protect with UV protect to protect from
fading. Soapy cleanser will offer zero help in that department

Great product, especially if you can get the non water based. Needs less wiping after application, if any at all. Used by lots of high end pros. I also use a lot of 303 and love it. Klasse one step polish is great also.

I use 303 but for a cleaner I use the Mcguiars Interior Detailer Hack:

    1/2 cup vinegar
    3 drops Dawn
    1 cup H20

    All in spray bottle

Use it on all vinyl interior surfaces. Great cleaner.
