attachments are the same - lengths / heights / travel distance may be different - but some have used Gen2 aftermarket (Bilstein) on their Gen3. Short answer yes. Check the suspension thread for more input and examples - pretty sure you are not the first to do this.

Thanks man.. I'll check it out. Is that your only Tacoma? This is my first. Want to buy a 2nd gen. I'm in Phoenix and they fairly easy to come up on out here. Just a waiting game... Almost got me one like your before this, but this one has a strong engine.

This is my second Tacoma. First was a Gen2 which got totaled in a hail storm so I took the $ and bought the one I have now. Gen2 was MT and this one is AT. After owning for 5 yrs I'd say it is a better truck than the Gen2 was. They all have TSB's but other than that the Gen3 drives, tows and gets way better mpg than my Gen2 did. The only issue was the oem calibration Toyota put in the shifting logic - fixed that 100% with .vfTuner. I am adding a SC simply for towing my camper here (6000 ft to 10500 ft) over mountain passes. They make one for your Gen2 - get it ! Magnuson. Easy install if you have any skills and the necessary tools. GL with the mods!
