Thanks everyone. I guess I'll need to pick up some lug nuts with the extended threads. I guess I can use the ones the shop gave me for my snow tires. They're on steel rims.

Thanks, I guess I'll test fit the rims and see how much threads I have showing. If it's not enough I'll get the ET lug nuts.

    Hi guys,

    2 questions,
my battery works flawlessly , as long i run the truck at least once every 2 weeks. It also dies if the engine is off and the doors open for half an hour.
I was told this means the battery is not holding charge , plus can be damaging the alternator? when the engine is running, i see the batter level always at the same point.

If you advise me to replace the battery to save the alternator, would this one be a good option ? or what else would you suggest?

    https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/...up-size-27-dual-purpose-battery-0102799p.html
I believe biggest battery size for my truck is 27 without modifications

    thanks in advance

Start by checking your grounds, may be rusty. At what charge is your battery when your mom-van is running? At what charge is your battery when in ACC mode? Do you have aftermarket accessories that may cause battery drain?

Realistically any AGM battery that's got warranty which you can use to exchange/ get refund is good, I have cheap Kirkland battery from Costco in group 24 size and it blasts music all night long, starts the truck next morning and holds the winch and much more. Check what's OEM size and pick the same size AGM battery.

All righty...now I get to pick your brain.
Seeing as your at a -10 offset, what size tire did you get?
    Lift?
    Rub?

    I will check those soon.
It shows out of stock. What is the price for that group 24?

I went with 255/80R17 tires. I do have a 2" lift (Fox 2.0 coilovers) but when I put my skid plates and sliders on I'm sure it's sagging by at least an inch, so maybe a net of 1" lift. I'm also still running the stock UCA.

I haven't put the wheels on yet so I'm not sure where they will rub but I'm expecting to have to flatten the pinch weld and remove a little plastic from the mud flaps. There will be some heat gun manipulation of the fender liner as well I'm sure. A good alignment will also be required.

I was originally looking for 0 offset wheels to ensure I didn't need the CMC, but I got a deal on these wheels and am still hoping to avoid the CMC since I'm using the 255 tires. If I have to do it, it's not the end of the world as long as t's done right. I won't be doing it myself.

    Hope this helps.

I am also hoping to avoid the CMC...but I want to go a 285 with a zero offset. I might have to pull my horns in and go with a 265/70 instead.
I'm running a 3 inch lift and I also am probably going to have to loose the flaps and perform some sort of heat gun surgery...for sure if I go a 285.
Let me know how you like those Toyo's as I'm absolutely up in the air as far as tires go.

Yours came with Group 27F, replace with the same group 27F in AGM specs.

Can’t remember Costco battery price, I know it was cheap under $150.

285s+ you have to cut, just accept it. It’s a tiny modification on a big scale. Those that say they don’t need to cut or trim aren’t being honest.
