Yes it will. You'll have to use the 3 small screws to attack cover to reinforcement.

I have a passenger side kit to part with. How about $35 shipped. I installed the driver 3 years ago and it has been a great fix. Haven't needed the passenger side.

Just ordered driver side. Can't wait to install it, I'm sick of pinching my butt cheek withtwith trim piece when I get out of my truck lol

 

ebay purchased ... Just installed one for the driver's side. I probably did it correctly, but can't go back thru 20 pages here to find out ... the included, printed paper doesn't quite jibe with what's shown in the old installation video. But between the two of them it looks right. Now for the aftermarket trim piece, coming in a few days yet.

For whatever reason my back trim piece had all 3 tabs off behind the tilt mechanism plate. I had to fish around and find the screw that holds it on from the backside, and remove that so that the trim could be walked back onto the tilt mechanism plate. A piece of tape securing the tiny screw to the screwdriver helped keep the screw guided to start back into its hole.

 

I’ll probably hit you up for a left side bracket if I buy the trunk I’m seeing on Saturday.

 

I need to update the videos. Can you post some pics of the problem you had? I'm not fallowing you.
