I keep a pair in my old box, but good reminder. I think I have a neat idea how to work them in to this box.

Another cool tip/trick. I used to always carry cleat screws. But apparently, they are the same as rotor screws. So if you lose a cleat bolt, you can borrow one from a brake rotor.

If there was a Southwest meetup I would get out there depending on dates. As long as yall don't have an issue with slow climbers with questionable knees.

Yeah I thought about that but just wanted to be able to store everything in the case and decent portability. All I need is the case, power source and a water source which is usually a 5 gallon jug. Works great!

Tempting I'll admit, but I'm not sure If I'd have time for that unless its after graduation this spring. A bit far.

I'm onboard with a SW meetup if the weekend works out. I've heard great things about st George, and Sedona is always a good choice. Either way if yall have room for another mediocre rider with above average drinking habits then sign me up!

Is there anything official with this SW meetup or just a discussion at this point? I'm definitely interested.

Finals are on the third and fourth so that's a no for me. Arizona high schools don't do finals exemptions for seniors based on grades and attendance unfortunately.

In a bit of a predicament with the bike situation right now. For starters I only do basic maintenance on my bikes, and leave the rest to the shops. My current bike (2019 Trance 2) is getting to the point where it's about to need a pretty good overhaul for it to not be a burden, but It's not worth much so I don't want to put a ton into it. I'm moving to Reno in the fall so I want to hold off for a new bike until then so I can purchase through a shop there, but I also want to be able to really ride and go places this summer. I'm looking at going to a longer travel trail bike or a smaller enduro 29er. 140/150 rear travel. The Trance was great while I was learning but it leaves so much to be desired for riding all the tech in Arizona. I've been looking at some used Pivot mach 6 and the new Commencal Meta TM and AM 29ers. What do you guys do when you get to this point? Repair and limp it along, or bite the bullet and upgrade?

You can always establish a local shop when you get to Reno but if you need something now and don't plan on keeping the Trance in the longrun start looking now, that's my $.02. Going to be hard to find stock right now of course and it'd be nice to get some time on the new ride under you before heading out that way. Plenty of trails here to enjoy a 140mm bike for the time being.

I have a buddy out of Reno and he is in love with all the MTB opportunities.

I've got one of these 12v submersible pumps wired in to my camper battery and powered by a switch at the tailgate. The sprayer is on a quick release attachment that I store in a side cubby and just snap on when we need water. It puts out enough power to clean a bike with the right sprayer set-up... https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Submersible-Campervan-Travelling-Gardening/dp/B01M3XOXQ0
