Anyone bought an air mattress with wheel well inserts?
I bought one from CarID (they suck, they charged my card $300 for a faulty product PLUS $900, which was supposed to be a hold for my replacement and sent me the wrong product anyway. Ordered in October 2020 and still dealing with them for a replacement/refund).

The one I bought was supposed to be compatible with a 2020 short bed but the wheel wells on a 2020 taco is located towards the front end of the truck bed while the well inserts on the mattress is located right in the middle.

All the other websites with similar product shows the product is compatible with a 2020 tacoma, but the pictures are showing the wheel well inserts are located in the middle which will not fit right.

I'm trying to buy one with well inserts so that I can utilize the full size of the truck bed instead of getting a regular mattress.
If anyone has bought one please share where you got it from and the product model name or link please.
Pic of the mattress I have rn below for reference. TIA!!!!

I wouldn’t get the air mattresses. They don’t hold air well so you have to fill up in the middle of the night sometimes. They don’t insulate well, and they take up an obnoxious amount of bed space. It sounds like your budget would allow for an Exped self inflating mattress. Highly recommend. And it fits between the wheel wells so you can use the space along the bed still.

something like this. but it’s too long for a short bed. Would need to leave the tailgate down.

Thank you for sharing the thread. There is just so much on here to scroll through it all lol
I have but since I have a giant dog, looking for something more convenient/light/portable so I can use the truck bed to load stuff in and use it as a bed when camping etc. :/

This one comes with a portable battery and has a built in inflate/deflate dial so I can inflate it any time since it's wireless.
I actually slept on it one night (drunk) and it didn't really get flat. Once I deflate it all the way it's a size of a backpack, easy for storage...

Yeah, no prob, happy to share it man. You can store gear under the platform, and a lot of people with dogs do it too. As for light weight, here is one with pvc.
Just a good option to think about

$300?!?! Wow. I remember these things used to be had for around $80. But I hopped on Amazon and sure enough... What is the world coming too? I found this one for much, much less. https://smile.amazon.com/AirBedz-PPI-PV202C-Mattress-Inflated/dp/B00O4Z5XOA?th=1

I've built the platform, but when you add a platform, and then a mattress, you are about the height of the bed rails. So, if you don't have a shell, roll over in the middle of the night and fall four feet onto the ground.
