I bought an anti-gravity a few years ago for my enduro since there's no kickstart. I've used it on my tacoma once and the neighbors nissan about a half of a dozen times. Charged the kids videogame, my wifes phone and started my moms sierra 5.7l. I'm really impressed with mine.

After sitting in my truck for over a year I finally had to use my GB40.
Not on my truck, but a Chevy truck with a 5.3. The truck battery was so dead there were no lights or buzzers at all. The Noco started it right up. Very impressed.

I am also impressed how long they hold their charge. A few times I used it, thinking there's no way there's any juice left. But sure enough, started.

for those letting these sit in vehicles for extended periods, is cold weather affecting it? One of these could come in handy, but if I have to bring it into the house every day its honestly just not going to happen. And im talking COLD weather, high this coming Sunday is -7, low of -19 overnight.

I'm in Hawaii so I dunno about cold weather. Mine was in my truck for over a year at least and still jumped a car.

I have a couple GB40 and 4 GB70 chargers...both work well, I keep them in all our kids cars and one in both my wife and my vehicle. I keep one (GB70) in our garage for tractors and such. I carry the GB70, just in case I need extra power for a larger vehicle while I'm on the road. I think the GB70 is the better buy. My daughters have GB40s but I plan to replace them for GB70s (both of their vehicles are V8s). ***My oldest had to jump her V8 once (battery went bad prematurely) and the GB40 did it.

I realize it's bigger (and pricier) than anything others have listed, but this one filled a need. Jump starting was secondary. With that said, I think I've used it to jump start more than the other reason I got it. I love it. Voltage display. Charge display. A little work light. The leads have great length and store easy. Cigarette light plug and two USBs. That's all I need.

I still have a Wagan Power Dome LT that has been jumping batteries and airing up tires for ten years. It's lunchbox size (lead acid) but strong and reliable. Used it two days ago for a slow leak and hadn't had it on a charger for about nine months. Tried a Rugged Geek Lithium jump/compressor combo, not impressed, didn't have sustained cranking power despite good specs. I've seen the same with Lithium jumppack tests with various brands.

The old Wagan lead acid just keeps performing.

Same here. I live in so cal so not very cold but it advertised a 6 month charge hold. Mine sat for over a year and still worked with no issues. Since then I try to stay diligent on giving it a charge at least every six months, just in case. Size wise its thicker than my cell phone but about the same size. Fits in the side pocket of my ride bag when we go to the desert or mountains

I’m hearing a lot about the NOCO on this thread. Any thoughts on this one?

I have the older version of it.

My wife has a noco in her car.
Thread reminds me to charge it.
Been below 0 in Vt I’d bet it’s dead right now.
I’ve only used mine a few times.
    Hers has been well used.
The dsr is different to use and won’t build if the donor battery is below 6 volts I think?
But needs no maintenance charge just a few minutes to build volts from the weak battery.

The small jump packs are like a car salesman. Promise the world and deliver crap. You can find some videos on guys who’ve actually tested multiple units for amperage delivery. I have 2, tested both. Antigravity put out 75 amps. The smaller Rezervo 232 amps, the smaller rezervo model that is.

I haven’t seen this one before. Nice, it uses both a lithium battery and capacitor.

I’m curious if anyone has put a amp clamp on their jumper to see what it’s really putting out. My old antigravity is beginning to look pregnant and besides it kinda sucks. So I’m looking to replace it. I know we’re not thinking about testing the jumper when trying to start a dead vehicle. We’re thinking about getting the dang thing started.

I had given up trying to find a good jump pack and was planning to make my own when I came across the capacitor type which works pretty good but works better supplemented with the crappy antigravity. I’m a forklift mechanic so sometimes I gotta park somewhere then walk through a warehouse 200 yards. Carrying a 40 lb jump pack that far, my old bones don’t like it.

Thanks. Yeah I doubt anyone would cook their starter like that for testing educational purposes.
