I've carried the CostCo "2 for $22" Scepter 20L plastic cans sideways with the cap pointing down, off-road in Ardbeg, VMUTS, etc. and never had any leaks. The Scepter cans have a plastic ratcheting collar that prevents the cap from loosening with vibration.

@ontarioyota I don't mind you stealing the picture. Especially when it serves an educational purpose.

On another note: I've just joined the club of seat heating problem. Calling dealer today as I'm still barely on the warranty. Any suggestions welcome

Get the dealer to fix it this time. Ask the tech what's found to be the culprit. From what I read on TW, it's usually that little controller module burned out at the connector, and the challenge has been finding a replacement module without it being sold as part of a whole $$$ harness assy.

Always give SEMA builds a second thought, because sometimes the design is SEMA-quality:

The small light bar below the jerrycan holder is cute though.

Spoke with them and they have to see what's the problem first and check if they have parts to fix it. Either way, problem was reported while under warranty. I will also get Health Check on transmission and probably software update.

I also found out Toy ota still has no remedy for fuel pump... :anonymous:

Good luck trying to get that fixed if you're out of warranty.

Both driver and passenger side stooped working 2 seasons ago and I've been freezing my ass off every winter since then. Hate cold seat.

Thanks for the info. Went through it already. Even gave the dealer part numbers so they could check if they have them.
It's still under warranty so I hope it'll be fixed.

Lucky you...when you get it fixed, if you could let me know if they replaced the controller unit or the entire heating element...please.
