    Is anything passable now due to winter? I see weather at Argentine looks cold but clear

    Am looking for stuff closer to Denver;
    Ouray/Telluride/etc is awesome but that 6hr drive is a pain!
    Might be worth it to go back some time...

    Does anything measure up to Imogene and Black Bear?
    I did both and they were sure breathtaking memorable experiences.
    Looking up pictures on Google of Argentine to research closer stuff; it doesn't seem to measure up/compare! lol

    Ordered this to research....

    I'll have to keep an eye on the trail pictures to see how gnarly they look
    Imogene and Black Bear and known to be more mild/passable to vehicles (but good views) and I got by on just a few inches of lift; no skids or sliders
    but some of these trails and how their obstacles look appear that they'd require that

    Not sure about current conditions, but Pearl Pass is a beaut. I can't compare it to Black Bear or Imogene (no experience with them), especially after all the avalanches two seasons ago put the trail out of commission for a year.

    theres a north of i70 book and south of i70 book. maybe the southern trails would be a bit more accessible? the four mile area in the south book has been on my list for awhile. doesn't look too technical and is kinda flat, but views of the collegiates. weston pass was super easy when i did it this summer, didn't use 4wd at all. views werent as good as i was hoping either. could be a fun snow wheeling area though.

    Tons of trails but depends on what you want to do. Are you just looking to drive scenic passes?

    Also want to know if there are any trails near Denver. Located in Evergreen and want to get some day practice in to figure out my build. Running 2013 Tx Pro with stock suspension and BF Goodrich KO2 265/75R16 tires. New to overlanding/off-roading. Any suggestions on easy/mild trails that are open currently to do some fun quick runs and gain experience?

    Yea it sucks because we really need the water but the more late Spring storms we get the later the season starts.

    Having moisture in the mountains now helps prevent fires later.

    Lifted, Armored, needs more lights.
    somewhat, the more late spring snow we get the better for NOT having fire restrictions/ forest fires, which close trails for very long times if not permeant.
