$398 with free Amazon Prime delivery what could possibly go wrong? I figured I would roll the dice as it was not much more expensive than what it would cost me to fix my stock bumper, and as a bonus it has lights. Out of the box it does not look awful but I am not putting a lot of faith in the longevity of the "powder coat", there is already a spot where it was worn off or chipped in shipping, nothing a spray can of bed liner won't fix. I was skepitcal of the advertised recovery points, but they are reinforced, so they are not as sketchy as I thought they were going to be, but I will still probably count on using my factory hitch for recovery. That won't stop me from going to harbor freight to get some shackles to put in those recover points so I can look good on the gram with shackles and pod lights on my back end. If it stays above 20 degrees this weekend I will throw the bumper on and see if it fits.

I thought they were just gonna be tabs welded on, but they actually go all the way through and are welded on the inside, so they might actually work for their intended purpose.

I spent way to much time looking at cheap bumpers until I found this, what got me to pull the trigger is that in the picture it looked like it had all the holes in the right place for the plate lights and the hitch wiring, we'll see how well that worked out for me when I try to put it on.

Similar to the link you provided...

Anytime you type "Amazon" TW hyperlinks it to their front page.

There were only 2 left when ordered, but there were a few others around $450 that seemed like they all might be clones of each other.

Looks solid. I personally would sand it and bed line it. The powder coat looks fairly skimpy.

+1. I think I would be inclined to clean up some of the joints and add some welds, than have it Line-Xed. I would definitely check fit it... definitely.
    No BSM sensor compatibility... bummer.

I like the Molle front-bed rack.
    https://www.ubox-offroad.com/collec...tem-for-toyota-tacoma-gen-2-2005-2015-bxg4016

Only fits 2nd gens? I mean aside from the rail.
    Ordered, I'll make it work.

UPDATE: The Bed Molle Panel will work if you add the rail. The welds aren't real impressive, at least they aren't seen. My other issue is the lower 3 weld-nuts (used with L-brackets to mount to floor of bed) were MIA, never welded in place which is a PITA.

For that price I would'a figured it was made from 1/8" material, but that looks decently thicc.

As for those recovery points, they seem decently strong, but I prefer the type that use the recovery points as the primary frame mounting locations. That much 1/2" steel would probably double the cost though, lol.

Test fit looks good, everything looks like it lines up. OEM plate lights drop right in no problem, but I will have to trim the hitch plug slightly for it to fit. Time for some lunch and to warm up. 20210221_112618.jpg
