It appears the 8" Kicker is out of stock most everywhere, but the 10" one is available. Does anyone know if the 10" model will fit under one of the front seats?

Any other similar items that will fit under one of the front seats (I'm not determined to use Kicker, I just see it suggested a lot)?

I believe @beetledude has the 10” and said it wouldn’t fit under the seats

sorry for the late reply, but the 10" will NOT fit under the seats. it is too wide to fit between the seat rails.

Damn, the HS8 must barely fit then. They are only 1.5" different from what I can tell.

The HS8 was a pretty tight fit. But I got it under there without any rubbing or snagging of harnesses (assuming you have power seats).

Best bet is to stick it under there, watch under it as you move the seat back and forth to make sure it doesn’t hit anything, then put an outline of it on the carpet with painters tape or something.

Do all of that before you worry about running the harness for it.

I ended up just putting a “frame” of Velcro on the bottom side to hold it down. If I remember right, just out the hard side of the Velcro on the bottom of the sub...it will naturally grab onto the carpet (carpet will act as the soft side of the Velcro). It wasn’t budging once I did that.

I haven't ordered the sub yet. I got the rest of my system (Kicker front and rear, Subaru tweets, Key 200.4 amp) but am waiting on the harness from TT still (they got frozen over during the winter storm here but said they expect it to go out this week). Oh, picked up sound deadener as well. I know I have enough for all the doors; not sure what the next best bang for buck will be; leaning towards back cab though.

Once I get the harness I'll work on installing all of the above. Next needs to be a softtoppe; after which I'll start saving for the sub.

    You have good taste.
Though now I’m wondering if I did my blue badges in the grill wrong. I did white on the left.

Haha. I honestly don’t know if there is a right or wrong way. I stuck it up there with tape both ways and liked the way it looks with the white on the right side better.

There’s a bar under the seat that needs to be flipped. I put it under my drivers seat (power seat) tho and didn’t have any issues.

I tried under my drivers seat, and couldn’t get it to fit.

I had them install under the driver seat and it seems top be working fine. I can feel the bass more than if under the passenger seat but overall a huge improvement. I did notice that not only is there a crossbar under the passenger seat but there are also two AC ducts that look like they blow air to the rear seats and the box would block them so I think the driver seat is the right decision.
