Is this top of the line original manufacturer Toyota whatever you wanna call it pieces? It says OEM and says direct replacement but I just don’t know anything about cars and I just wanna ask are these genuine pieces? If y’all know what I mean lol

 

I see the manufacturer is "Autoelementss" so no it's not Toyota OEM. No way you would get all those OEM parts for that price either. As to whether they are good quality or not, I read on this forum that you should look for CAPA certified pieces. I don't see that listed under the specifications on link you sent.

 

Thanks a lot I almost bought it lol, do you know anybody on this forum that could have those pieces but Toyota oem, or a good dealer with nice prices?

 

It's Amazon, so it's 100% NOT oem, as in a "factory OEM original" Toyota part.

I would highly advise not getting car parts from Amazon, especially if you are unsure what you're looking for. Go to an auto parts, or even a Toyota specialist for your parts. If you're unsure of something, call them and ask. You 100% will not get that customer service from Amazon.

That's not to say Amazon ONLY has crap parts, but you have ot know what you're looking for. There are several threads I've seen of people buying bumpers etc... from amazon, but they're almost always rolling the dice.

Auto parts "stores" like RockAuto, car-part . com etc... are typically pretty good. Other options, if you really want OEM are places like Camelback Toyota (and others). There are several Toyota dealers that specialize in on-line sales. Camelback usually has pretty good prices too. Those ARE real OEM factory parts.

 

There was some new TW member from a Toyota parts department that signed up last week or so and made a thread about helping people out with parts...kind of like how Gunny used to do for Camelback. I'll see if I can find it

But yeah that Amazon link is definitely not an OEM bumper, that's aftermarket

 

Agree if buying off Amazon you need to know the part # you need from the manufactures catalog .

If I have the time to wait I have had Good Luck ordering from Amazon.
