I think this translates to "buy bigger tires" ... ?

I mean maybe but even a guy on 35’s slid off the road last spring heading on Bennetts pass I mean really it translates to buying a snow cat LOL

Every winter tons of Jeepers ignore the road closed signs and then end up calling in recovery groups asking for help. Search for a few vids. It gets gnarly fast with the snow. Snowcat or sled is the only real option.

Just a joke really. More of finding any excuse to get bigger tires...but tracks is definitely the way to go. Someone please put these on your Tacoma.

Haha, Richard Hammond in the latest grand tour. He was breaking rollers off those things nonstop! Also ripped a track off hauling ass down a beach.

Had to sell my 17 Tacoma for a tow rig in order to pull my new home. Still here for a bit to keep in touch.
    Great episode everyone should watch!

    Missed Connections:
You, white 3rd gen, raptor lights, pro grill, I5 northbound in the terwilliger curves, passing people on the right, cutting people off, tailgating. About 10 min ago.

Nice job giving Tacos a bad name. Sure hope that wasn't one of you fine folks in here.

So many Tacomas on the road that’s like saying thanks for giving Camry drivers a bad name. As much as we like to think we’re special really we’re a dime a dozen.

Yeah of course, i get that.

But if one dude remembers my post when deciding whether or not to drive like a jackwagon, then I'm good.

I carry something similar from kershaw. Old roommate left it in the garage when he moved out.

My main wheeling buddy has an axe which is nice because you can cut any size log with it given enough time and determination. Also way cheaper and more compact than a chainsaw that you might never need.

but to be honest we’ve never actually needed to break either one out.

I know the instafabulous overland bros like to brag about chainsaws and their vids always show them bucking up firewood at camp but all that noise clashes pretty hard with my wilderness ethics. I don’t even like to softly play music at camp if there’s neighbors.

I have that Silky thanks to recommendation by @lightnfast Would like to have a chainsaw one day. Off topic, installed the baby Bilsteins on the rear today. Already feels better with just those on the truck.
