Canopy/Box Leaks

Hey gang...My 2018 taco has 2018 Century canopy...from day 1 it leaks...I just realized the water is coming from the front section of the box. Nothing to do with canopy.

Appears, box top.frame.. it's adjustable or removable.The top 2inches have 1/2 " air space....has anyone come up with gr8 idea stop water & dirt from coming in..Thx

 

I'd take out that foam and put this in (pic below), if the gaps aren't too big. If you have bigger gaps I'd use some thick soft rubber pieces to keep the water out.
