I have used mine twice now, and it is amazing.

So glad I started learning how to winch with this in my tool bag. It makes everything easier for how I have it all setup.

Honestly i i see this with 100’ line in the truck being much more beneficial
And if you need the extra pulling power just go for a snatch block, you should have one anyways.

Ive personally seen a synthetic line snap on a 20’ straight pull

That's what I want to do. Would go for terralume spots as they're a lot smaller... and a few other things.
In sum it's a great concept.

Had the truck in for an alignment at the dealership yesterday because I put the ecgs in. $112.96 out the door and it runs perfectly down the highway. I didnt get a printout, talked to the tech and he said he tweaked it because of the lift and bigger tires. Exeter Toyota for the win

i have learned to hate hood mounted ditch lights
    :annoyed:
the amount of snow that gets caught under them against the windshield is something i didn't take into consideration as it's incredibly infuriating to try and clean it out. Also found out that i cannot lift the passenger wiper to try and free it from the ice. The rest of the year i can see it being great, but in the winter they suck.
so mounting it under the rack idea is fantastic imo.

Alignment isn’t required after doing the bushing kit unless you touched your cam bolts? Either way $99 alignment at Toyota dealer sounds cheap and like a good deal.

So many un-necessary parts, like the new radar and harness, those shocks ain’t better beside TRD stickers on them, and the leaf block/spacer? o_O People would pay tho...

my favourite part is the fog light delete kit that is included, like... why?
    :duh:

i think the only reason this is a 2020/2021 upgrade is the front camera that is included. literally no other reason i can see why it's force limited to those years.

the 2018 TRD PRO had an inch or 2 of lift compared to the 2018 OR from what i recall seeing (it might have been dealer installed but i've never seen a PRO at stock OR height) so the sensor is dropped bellow the

Exeter Toyota has been winning awards for well over 10 years in customer service.

Some years they are rated the top dealership in all of Canada.

they have some great technicians and it sounds like you did great there!

Dealers have been adding $400 spacer lift kits to trucks in showrooms and marking them up by $4000 for years. This appears to be Toyota's attempt at cashing in on this segment. Apparently the dealers in the US had been the ones prodding Toyota to offer it. I guess having the Toyota/TRD sticker on the parts is worth the premium. (And judging by some posts in the other threads, many people on TW are more comfortable getting this kit than piecing one together themselves) :notsure:
Welcome to the baggage of OEM certification. According to the instructions, the lift puts the fog light height out of regulation in 26 of the 50 US states, so Toyota is required to remove them. Those states may not have DOT safety inspections, so private individuals installing a lift on their own may never get enforcement on this. The TRD Pro as you know has different Rigid Industries fog lights to remain compliant.

I think the kit is kept dealer-installed only (as opposed to factory- or port installed), so Toyota can avoid repeating fuel economy testing and VSC system handling/rollover testing.

The 2020+ trucks are said to have a different "electrical architecture". A lot of wiring connectors for even minor things like door speakers are different for 2020+. The sharkfin antenna got moved forward a bit, causing incompatibility with some roof racks for previous years, etc.

And that’s how Toyota became Volkswagen, same car - million incompatible parts :annoyed:
